Fun fact about the water animation:
When they were animating it, they showed it to the boss, and they were promptly told to do it all over.
The reason? It was TOO realistic. They said if the waters too realistic, the audience would mistake it for a documentary, and fall asleep.

Oh so that's why I nearly fell asleep when I went to see the Lion king remake.

Never noticed the parallelism with Marlin finding Nemo as a baby, and then Dory coming to comfort Marlin in the whale. And it made me cry 😭

My senior year of high school I had one of the most AMAZING teachers. She taught Marine Biology, and was head of the the Marine Science Club, and had taught at that school when it had opened 30 years prior and did surfing competitions. When she heard us cracking Nemo lines, she asked what we were quoting. We were shocked she hadn't seen it, so we all told her that it was right up her alley. She watched it over the weekend, and that Monday she told us we weren't having normal class, we were watching Nemo. It was amazing how excited she was that there was a movie about something she was passionate about.
In a way, I relate to Dory. It feels like every day that passes, I have short turn memory loss. Ah, age... slowly turning me into a cartoon fish.
Don't feel bad, age wreaks havoc on us all. You're turning into a cartoon fish, my tits are turning into tube socks...
I think I have short term memory loss, but I don't remember.

Finding Nemo is, in my opinion one of Pixar’s finest films to date. I like how the story of the overprotective Marlin, who has to leave his home to save his only family member after that horrible incident with a barracuda and learns how to give his son, Nemo the space he needs to grow and not be confined to one place. The characters are fun (Crush being my favorite, next to Dory) and the the music is very good too. This film is just one of those that I enjoy time and time again, overall. 😁🌊🐠🦈🐳

Haven’t seen this movie in years. Just remember having nightmares of the sharks when I was little. It’s a good movie and I don’t know why I nightmares of it besides sharks are scary. Anyways could you react to the 2020 live action Anastasia or the movie stardust if you haven’t already. Or the 2003 Peter Pan live action? Love your vids!
Sharks are scary I do watch many shark movies though I do love watching them I pretty sure I watched every shark movie it's scary and sad you know the deaths.
I was always scared to go in the sea I was also scared if the fishes in the sea not anymore but just the sharks I'm scared of.
I mean, the same could be said about me having nightmares of the villain song from Princess and the Frog 🐸
Hi Movies in Depth, Thank you for doing a video on this movie, this is one of my favorite childhood movies as a kid. Also, the fish you were calling a swordfish at the beginning is not a sword fish. The fish is called a barracuda, which is an aggressive predator that lives along the Coral Reef. Swordfish aren’t generally aggressive.

They actually have a coaster at Disney Studios park in Paris called Crush's Coaster. The only downside is it doesn't have a ton of theming on the actual ride and it is just a clone of every other family spinner by that company
I had a thought while watching this the other day. What if, instead of remaking animated movies, they just reanimated every few years and kept the same script and everything. That would be such a cool way to see how much animations improve over time in my opinion

oh nice! i LOVE Finding Nemo! on Animal Crossing New Horizons, i have two clown fish and a Surgeonfish on a stand. kinda referencing Finding Nemo lol
Since the kid ain't going to learn to listen cause he doesn't understand just tell him why tell him what happened to his mom and siblings.
Kids don't learn until something bad happens it's sad but if that's the only way for them to learn their lesson so be it.
My brother had to get stitches on his head twice for him to learn his lesson when we told him to nod do something cause it's dangerous he needs to be careful.

I really wish you watch Shark Tale next. Unfortunately Finding Nemo took the limelight away from it but it has such a strong message, amazing characters and hilarious tiny details.
Trivia: the angler fish they showed in this movie is actually pretty small. Disney only presented it that big, so we could find it intimidating.
(Also, a personal note - in one of the mobile games I play, I use the profile name Shark Bait Uhaha. And any time anyone called me Shark Bait, and not Shark or Sharkie, I always use the Finding Nemo mantra. Shark Bait ooo haaa haaa!)
