- Stateroom 9404 is BY FAR the smallest room I have stayed in! It is a solo cabin or inside single stateroom designed for only one person! This is a great value option for solo cruisers or those who just want their own space WITHOUT paying double occupancy for the room. There are only four inside single staterooms on Celebrity Silhouette, so if you find one, act quick!

Really helpful tour of solo cabin. Hope you will do more as you explore these types of cabins on different ships in the future. Hopefully firms will continue to roll these out at fairer rates.
I sure hope so too!! Though, it is interesting as some cruise lines move closer to single cruisers some are moving away from wanting our business. Pays to shop around these days!
I scored a single cabin on Quantum when I went to Alaska and it was really nice. They had a virtual balcony as they called it. There was a flat screen that looked like a big window and it got a live feed from a camera on the outside of the ship. So it was just what I needed and it actually had a larger bathroom than the regular cabins!
Hey Brandon thank you so much for this video I am going on the silhouette and I have booked the solo cabin in fact over the next year or so I booked about four or five cruises while paying half the price I could certainly put up with the size of the cabin in fact it'll probably force me to get out of the cabin and be more in the public areas
Great way to look at it!
Brandon, don’t you think you could ask your cabin steward for more pillows, towels, and even chocolates, if you really wanted them?
I could! Though, for whatever reason, I am not one to ask for things... it also didn't bother me THAT bad 😂 Just a noticeable change that I preferred the other way.
Glad that 9402 is better choice-- booked it for longer cruise next year-- really excited for location--will bring earplugs just in case. I will use ALL the hangers!😅
hahaha definitely it is! Enjoy and jealous of the longer cruise!
Great info! I didn’t know the Silhouette had single cabins. Thank you. Now I will go see if I can find one to book!
They are tough to come by but they are there! Hope you are able to get at least one!
Great video, Brandon. You didn’t mention, & I didn’t see, a safe. So isn’t there one in this cabin? They’re important to keep valuables like your passport in!
Looks like it was in the closet.
Java has it, bottom shelf of the closet. I had items stacked ontop and in front of it.
Happy New Year Brandon.❤🎉Thank you for sharing. How was your Asian trip?
AMAZING! Have a video I am putting together now on that!
The only problem with solo rooms is that they don't have enough of them. As a solo cruiser, I have had a solo on NCL. Worked great. I don't care it is inside or small. Best addition to cruise ships in years.
I wish there were more too! Though, I worry the world is going in the opposite direction.
Looks like a nice little room - I didn’t realise these were available on Silhouette!
Not many of them! have to get them quick!
Happy New year Brandon.
Nice to sleep late! 😅
Thanks for the video Brandon. Question on tipping your steward. When you stay in a "normal" cabin with the single supplement, are you expected to tip the steward as if you were two in the cabin? Not sure if its built into the room fees during purchase.
You only pay gratuities for one person. Even though you may pay double occupancy for the room. There is no expectation to tip as it is 100% discretionary. I dip a little bit more but I'm definitely not going above and beyond. They also have only one person to clean up after not two. Do what feels right for you.
Great video! When I was on the Silhouette a few weeks back, I think I only saw one inside cabin in my section on the 7th deck, I was curious what they looked like. Thanks for the video!
Where is your life jacket? Under the bed?
It was under the bead. Though, I think this was also the first time at muster station they told me to not bring a life jacket and they would give me one once at the station.
What is that picture above the bed? It is woman swimming?
I hope so?
Really, bothered by 1 piece of chocolate?
haha, you've missed my other videos talking about how I have a sweet tooth 😂
