(Subtitled) Crazy living cost in the US !!! Inflation

On the third day in LA, the weather was a bit cloudy and chilly, unlike LA. Around lunch time, I head to the Galleria shopping mall located Olympic & Western to have a meal. It's like yesterday's deja vu!!! but I go to the same place. After eating at the food court on the 3rd floor, I head to the basement supermarket to buy a few items. While shopping at the super market, I will experience America's crazy high prices compared to before. Perhaps the government issued new money and distributing it to citizens during the pandemic was the cause of the problem, or it was the aftermath of the wars in Ukraine, and Israel. In any case, the high cost of living in the United States places a significant burden on travelers. I leave the mall and go to Bank of America to try to open a new account.

Tortilla 200장, refried beans 20캔, 덕용 Monterey cheese 2봉지, 타피토 핫소스 1 gallon. 이거 50달러 쯤. 한달 식사 할수 있어요.

엘에이는 식료품에는 세금을 부과하지 않는것으로 아는데요…? 저는 뉴저지 사는데 뉴저지주에서는 식료품과 의류. 신발 처방 의약품은 비과세 품목 이거든요.

앗.. 제가 착각을 했는지도 모르겠네요.. 한국의 경우 부가세 개념을 미국슈퍼에서 비유한 것 같네요... 그런데 미국의 비과세 개념 상당히 헷갈리는 것은 사실입니다. 한국은 가공을 거치지 않은 기초 농산물에 대해서만 면세혜택을 주는데.. 반해...

양국의 국민 소득 비교하면 한국이 높긴 한데, 미국은 팁 문화가 있고, 주별 업종별로 미국은 달라서, 실제적으로는 한국의 2배 가까이 정도는 되는 것을 알고 있습니다.
