I love that Fred is played by Marc Blucas, who also played Riley in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, starring Sarah Michelle Gellar, who played Daphne in the actual Scooby Doo movies. It's like playing Six Degrees, but without Kevin Bacon.

"Velma" is played by Jane Silvia. "Daphne" is played by Carmen Llywelyn, who was married to Jason Lee from '95 to '01 and is super fucking beautiful, IMO.
She was also Alyssa Jones' girlfriend in the bar at the beggining of Chasing Amy.
But also had a brief affair with Danny Hardling back in 2002. The same time time Carly from iChart was filming with Carrie on a secret Mexican Indie film with a plot about a single Grandma who must avenge her great nephew in honor of her sister.
I guess Kevin had no choice but to cast her.

Imagine if they made a R-rated Sccoby-Doo movie, mostly live-action. Scooby-Doo can only talks when Mystery Inc., mostly Shaggy are high. Also, about all of the culprits who have been wearing scary costumes and/or make-up are really criminally insane and have mental disorders of why they were wearing these scary disguises while committing the crimes.

I always loved Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is a very underrated and great Kevin Smith film, the Scooby-Doo scene was hilarious, and the scenes with George Carlin, Carrie Fisher, Shannon Elizabeth, and Chris Rock were all brilliant. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back along with Ghostbusters 1984 with Bill Murray, Dumb and Dumber with Jim Carrey, Happy Gilmore with Adam Sandler, Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle, and Team America: World Police are my absolute favorite comedy films.

Actually I feel it would be cool to do a live action version of Scooby-Doo but with this sort of grown up character direction for them, which was surprisingly what they wanted for the original 2000's live action but weren't allowed since Scooby-Doo is geared towards children, so cussing and smoking weed wasn't in line for the script. Even though I feel kids these days know more than what they should about that and would probably enjoy it better with this type of content but of course still try to make it heart warming and have a great story for nostalgia purposes,👌
