Or they skip through stuff thinking it's "common knowledge." Or sometimes they've been doing it so long they forget all the little steps they took in the beginning. More often than not though they like being vague to get you to buy a course where they will teach you more in-depth stuff about it as you mentioned. Wanting to pad their pockets, disregarding that starting a business in the beginning can get expensive real quick it we aren't careful. Paying for a course is just another added expense on top of websites, advertisements, products, etc. Kind of hard to purchase things when your account is at zero lol
If I ever made a course it definitely wouldn't be thousands of dollars. I love the expectation that people have that kind of money lying around in this current economy, let alone years ago.
Dropshipping has definitely become a bit harder but that does not mean it's the end! People always have to start focusing on one thing mainly: customer service. This alone can save a lot of the stores out there

don't let this discourage you. Go for it and you too will learn a few things and eventually ditch it as he did for something better. He was able to do that because of what he learned by doing dropshipping. Take risk fellow entrepreneurs
This is everything. Starting a new venture can definitely be scary, but you gotta take the risk if you want that great reward!
If this discourages people, they shouldn't be entrepreneurs. Real entrepreneurs will want to KNOW this because it's reality. The closer you stick with reality, the higher your chances of success will be. Entrepeneurs shouldn't let anything discourage them, and only use that to encourage them to continue.

Omg I love this video! I’ve been in the fashion industry for a while and witnessed the whole drop shipping wave begin! I also had the same challenges and in in terms of “longevity” I saw that if I ran my company using the complete “drop shipping” method my brand would collapse lol because I wouldn’t be able to supply my customers demand! So I put the site on hold for fear that it would fail. It never failed and watching this video proves my judgement was correct! Watching this video was like a gold mine! Even the ad that came on was pointing me in the right direction! I admit that ppl are using this method like some come -up scheme. It’s so cringey out here lmao 🥴🤣 Thanks for the info! 🙏🏽

I've been successful at dropshipping and have done very well. I've got hundreds of 5-star reviews and been in business 2.5 years. Finding good suppliers who will provide reliable happy customer experiences is worth their weight in gold. There's SO much of USPS losing packages, destroying them and throwing them away, delivering it to the wrong place, and you don't get your money back. Rarely do I get my money back. I lost a lot of money in December because of USPS. Dropshipping has shown me what products sell and how much, and is merely a stepping stone to get to wholesale and branded products. You're the first video I found that actually talks about how to transition from dropshipping to wholesale. Thanks for this!

@@hussainmohammed6833 flopped sadly, it took much much more money to actually get enough traffic to the site. A lot of these people on here are salesman selling a dream. A bunch of dishonesty on here. Definitely no one’s fault other than ours that the thing we started isn’t working out but this dream is also soaked in deception. Not to mention alot of products your selling are trash and piss people off when they receive lol. Anyone reading this with a thick wallet make sure you receive the product and inspect it for quality before you start putting a bunch of money into ads selling a terd. That is not what happened to me but it took a great while before we found something that didn’t deserve to be a secondary toy in a happy kids meal at your local McDonald’s. Always loved watching this guys content though has a great way of making ya feel motivated.

Hey Jordan, thanks very much for your video. It's nice to hear what you had to say. I wanted to go down the branded line from the start. I started with portable solar energy products. The normal market is over priced and the quality was lacking.
We are getting traction now but I think it will take longer to scale. If you have anytime to give advice or make a video on scaling brands that would be awesome.

Jordan I got the point...but i think there is one main obstacle and concern for do this transition for most people and it's CONSISTENCY, keep selling the same product for months/years like you are doing with your current brand is not easy. When you see that every winning products died after 1 month (even if you refresh the creatives) the last thing you would like to do is transitioning to a brand. Hope this can give you a beginner prospective and new ideas for the future videos
a true winning product won't die after 1 month.. if it dies that fast it's not a winner trust me.
i see your point though, it is a challenge & after building a brand for a year i've started to run in to this issue.
I actually asked Davie about this, I just didn't include his answer in the video because it was super long..
In short he said to remedy this, you need to continue launching other products inside of your brand like tesla & apple have done. Of course keep your flagship product and keep improving it but the way to hit massive scale is rolling out new products to your existing audience.

I've recently set up a shopify, and at the moment I'm testing and researching different products. It's not something I will complete rely on, but it's a very good way of getting complementary income while you work a part time job or something.
