I had this as a child and loved it. The songs are brilliant musical versions of many of the original pomes and it is all so in keeping with the book. I remember it so well, but no-one else ever seemed to have heard of it. Considering the cast available I have often wondered how it came to be recorded. But at least I know I am not alone in loving it!
At last! Straight back to being 8 years old in eternal summer. A daily listen and I have carried so many phrases which I know by heart. Fabulous music too! Wow, wow, wow!!!!
I still have a my copy but the cover is different. I listened to it all through my childhood and then when I had glandular fever I was in bed for over a month and listened to it over and over again. Then I shared it with my children and we still sing from it. I need to play it to my grandsons now! 😁😍
My mother, three sisters and I used to sing along to this on many Saturday mornings while we did the housework. We knew it off by heart. Thanks for making it available.
I so wish I could get this on CD for my granddaughter ...she would ADORE this version !! THANK YOU SOOOO much , my sister and I had this when we were 8 years old..
Back in the 60's this was a huge part of my childhood. Reminds me of those glorious 6 weeks summer holidays in the park with my brother. RIP all those lovely stars on this recording. You're poor if you don't understand, wonderland.
This i believe was my first ever own Vinyl LP Album and a disney album along with Nursery Rhymes im blessed to be a tad hoarder lol and still have mine , bought the Alice I W for my Neice recently , thank you for the download
Absolutely loved this when I was little. Thanks SO much for transporting me back to special times at my Auntie Eva’s house as only audible memories can do. xxx
This adaptation would have been worthy of a film adaptation where the songs are concerned - as well as the cast. Fun Fact: Alice is Jane Banks from Mary Poppins.
Thank you immensely, thoroughly and intensely. I'm keeping a copy for myself. Thanks to the power of CZcams to mp3, I've burnt a CD of this to put upon my shelf.
@@hbee7236 Copy the audio from a youtube video to a blank CD? It's possible in principle if you have an old PC with a DVD or CD drive (as I do, my PC is almost 11 years old). But might as well just copy the audio to a hard drive, or USB stick or something.

Recorded at Abbey Road Studios.
Probably the only time you’re going to hear a hookah being called a ‘Turkish bubble pipe’ but it’s an oddly accurate description.
