I think it was because the live performance it quite disappointing compared to the video version. They weren´t able to catch this Word cup summery vibe on stage, it just became a bunch of people in white jeans jumping around, and it looked a bit messy and all over the place.
The singing was also a bit weak, and out of breath since it´s quite hard to sing when you dance a lot. Perhaps they should have had less dancers and more people in the backing vocals? 12th place out of 39 isn´t that bad.
The live performance from the Eurovision final has only 2 million views, while this has 63 million views so that itself gives the answer. People like _this_ but not the Eurovision performance, and that´s why they got the result they got.
