Here I am in June 2024 and I have managed somehow not to get covid. I think you are right we needed to concentrate on the sick and not send them home, but the restrictions like masking up and staying 6 feet away I think were warranted. I am worried about the long term effects we are bound to learn about in the future with covid.
I was 34 in 2020 with no prexisting conditions. I had a physical and bloodwork months prior with a fully clean bill of health. In March of 2020 I got COVID and ended up on life support. I now am disabled.
We should have been more concerned about young and healthy people, not less.

The problem with saying, "If I'm 25 years old, the risk of Covid is zero" [6:45], or a few out of 100k, is that Dr Drew is still talking about deaths. Long Covid, in particular, has affected more people 30 and younger than that, sometimes with significant consequences..
Much of what is being Said to be Long COVID is Depression, Fatigue etc, Burnout, worry, Lack of exercise AND AN IMMUNSYSTEM IN DECLINE BECAUSE OF NOT MIXING AND TAKING A NON TESTED VACCINE

I had h1n1 it was bad,so was rona but no one freaked out regarding to h1n1. when I was teaching, schools was not shut down when it was in the school district just a letter to the parents 😂
