this music video is one of the best depictions of trauma I've ever seen. Being reminded of those moments because of triggers, wanting to get out of the fucked up mindset you have because of your trauma, but not being able to get out.... taking measures into your own hands, hurting yourself or taking pills to make your brain go quiet... Yoongi, you're brave for telling your story. It must've been extremely hard to revisit the moments that hurt you the most. I hope it helped you heal in the process.
Regarding the pills, i am 99% sure they represent him taking pain relief pills for years for his shoulder, since he only got surgery not long ago. He told us how painful it often was, to dance with a broken shoulder

Theres a book Yoongi read, called almond, in which the main character's mom tells him to eat almonds, because she desperately wants him to feel something again. I thought the almonds he ate represented him trying to "fix' his amygdalae and since he showed the pills around the same time and sort of in the same context, I thought the pills represented him wanting to do the same.

Yoongi is only 30 years old, yet it seems like he's lived and experienced a life over a span of many more. His inner transformation is truly beautiful and his motivation and determination to be a better version of himself is so inspirational.
I'm here after I finished watching the D-DAY Tour Final Concert for the second time, and I cried my heart out just like I did while watching it live, but no matter how much it hurts seeing him cry too, I'm so happy and relieved that, in the end, he could open that door and say goodbye with a happy face. It also links your emotions to many other brain abilities, especially memory or learning thing, i think that suga is trapped by his emotions and his past and wants to be freed of his tragic past and want to let out his emotion, show the world his real self.. Amygdala has a very deep meaning, not only does it allow us to see your suffering but also the longing to get out of that dark place. Being able to see how you try to save yourself while asking the amygdala to get you out of that danger in a constant fight to open that door It is one of the most personal and profound things you could show us and many of us identify with this and it is beautiful to have seen in your concert how you the door. I hope one day i can open my door..

The day before the release of this mv I had relapsed after almost a year of being clean. I was defeated and didn't want to stay. Seeing this video : a person that I love and admire so much going through all of this, being raw and real helped me so much, made me feel less alone, less miserable. This song is extremely precious and touching. I don't think there's a sincere enough way for me to express my thankfulness for you, Yoongi.
By the way, I'm almost a year clean now! I go to therapy and started healing, my life is slowly finding its way now. And I'm deeply grateful to Yoongi to have accompanied me through this process.

I'm so sorry to not be able to watch this music video as many time as it deserves, but i feel so overwhelmed every time that I watch it. You can really feel every single raw emotion and every struggle. This is a masterpiece and I feel so grateful to Yoongi to being able to talk about his trauma freely because he's helping me overcome mine. Bts saved me years ago and you saved me again now.

The day before the release of this mv I had relapsed after almost a year of being clean. I was defeated and didn't want to stay. Seeing this video : a person that I love and admire so much going through all of this, being raw and real helped me so much, made me feel less alone, less miserable. This song is extremely precious and touching. I don't think there's a sincere enough way for me to express my thankfulness for you, Yoongi.
By the way, I'm almost a year clean now! I go to therapy and started healing, my life is slowly finding its way now. And I'm deeply grateful to Yoongi to have accompanied me through this process.
