Located about 20 miles from midtown Manhattan Paramus is ideal place to live if you need to commute to NYC.
There is no direct train to the NYC form Paramus the only option for you to get to the city is via bus directly to port authority, the commute the commute time is about 40 min- one hour depends on the time of the day.
If you commute by car it should take you around 40 Minutes also depends on the time of the day.
Paramus is also located 24 miles away from the Newark international airport and the commute should about 30 minutes.
Very important to know that overnight street parking in Paramus is not allowed, so if you have a big family make sure to buy a house with a driveway that would be large enough to fit all of you cars.

El Cid located on Paramus Rd - Upscale restaurant with a vibrant atmosphere, serving giant portions of Spanish cuisine & sangria.
Bone Fish Gril - located on Route 17 Contemporary grill chain offering a seafood modern menu, steaks & cocktails.
Big retail stores
There are 3 great malls as well:
Paramus Park, Garden State Plaza mall and the Bergen Town Center which is the Paramus outlet.
Also, there lots of strip malls all over Route 4 and Route 17.
