This mod is quite different from the material I usually cast on this channel, which is all PVP. So I wasn't sure if people would like it. I'm glad you enjoyed it and it's good to know the algorithm is sending people here.
Tbh the "killer feature" supposed to be big maps and tons and tons of units. Loud ai has great performance improvements. Faf has multiple good AIs that are behaving completely different and developed by different people (swarm ai, rng ai, uveso, m27, dillidalli, default ai, default sorian ai and maybe i am forgetting one or two). It is little better than just difficulty customisation. Faf does also have resource multiplyers to help ai
48 minutes there is generally siege phase. Good units for that are basilisk, goliath, mayhem, and generally just longer range units. You also want to build anti-nuke around an hour to prevent getting nuked. UEF commander has billy nukes when you upgrade him as well, and those are very useful for siege. The Wyrens are also better fatboys rather than mini fatboys. They have more guns, rather than the unit production capabilities. Building shielded mass fab arrays late game definitely helps with mass extractor loss.
I dont know if I installed the mod incorrectly, or somehow managed to not enable LOUD correctly, but to me the AI seems just plain stupid which managed only through massive cheating. As if I was playing different LOUD than you here on this video. I enjoy vanilla AI better, and that says a lot. For me the LOUD AI didn't make any moves towards mass points near him, but poured units like no tomorrow. Somebody needs to do a video tutorial on how to enable this correctly! :D
The AI sounds amazing, I love playing PvE in SupCom. But some of those unit models are downright horrific especially when contrasted to SupCom's nice art direction. Those Cybran shield bots... urgh. Same for the map, it looks mushy at a distance and has very ugly tiling textures up close - a product of mapgen with a very simple texture system I suppose. It's kinda sad to see a visual downgrade, when you play a mod made a decade later you expect and upgrade.

Great video of SC Loud. Many times you frustrated me by not reclaiming, but did a good job of showing how relentless the AI can be.

what AI settings did you use? Also what included mods did you have enabled?

the one thing this AI cant handle is t2 gunship spam. 100 t2 gunships will wipe this AI out easily.
