Grant and Rob were never friends even on the show. Why would they keep in touch. Especialy when Grant was a recruit who doesnt give a shit about Survivor and probably talks to only like 1 or 2 people from the cast post show to begin with. He doesnt talk to Andrea or Matt, who unlike Rob, he was friends with during the season.
Okay, Matt really only lost the Redemption Island challenge because he lost focus. Same with Mike. I hated all the finalists this season, but Rob did deserve the win out of the three. Natalie and Philip practically made their speeches on why they should win by THANKING Rob for taking them. He did deserve to win. David's speech was absolutely correct. However, Matt should have won player of the season. They should not allow the winner to receive the player of the season award. Good game, Rob.
Ya definitely hard not to feel a bit sorry for Matt. At least for him being alone was an experience he more comfortable with than most would have been in his situation
You told her that you went out at the final 4 😂 That probably gave her a big scare after you won the final immunity. By that I mean she probably thought u gave it up and gave Ashley a million dollars

And furthermore, the Survivor production team has made it clear in the past several years that they don't give a shit about pleasing the viewers. The season that just ended is almost universally hated by fans(I like Rob the winner though). Again, if the producers were to entirely rig the show, they would try to every season universally loved. @Polarcupcheck Actually, several people who have made it to the final two have been hostile to their respective juries. I can name several off the top of my head. As for Survivor being rigged, no. It's not rigged. It is however, heavily influenced by producer intervention, but that's not the same thing as being rigged. Grant probably thought Rob would be scared to take Natalie to the end after seeing Natalie White win and after having lost to Amber. Of course Natalie Tenerelli's social game is nowhere near those 2 girls.
@SuperWillHatch I get what you are saying. Those people didn't really rig the quiz shows. It was producer intervention when the received the answers in advance. I should have had you as a witness when I was cheating at an online game. There was a possible 80,000 points or so to be earned, but I scored over 120,000. People said that wasn't possible. Boston Rob: Best Survivor Player Ever. Dominated 2 of 4 seasons. Technically, he was dominating a 3rd one. If Tyson had followed the plan in Villains, he might've been on Final 4 in a 3rd game as well.
In Redemption Island he was playing with the most complacent betas who never wanted to rise up the ranks and in HvV he would've been voted out during the merge guaranteed, no one would've seen Rob's social game in HvV and thought that they should bring him to the end (except from maybe Russel but in a world where Tyson doesn't flip Russel would be gone)

it does matter because nobody has had that many chances at playing survivor before. he is DEFINITELY not one of the best ever. there are many people who has played this game once and won on their first attempt. and who can forget sandra, the 2 time winner?

@Polarcupcheck think that if the show were entirely scripted, or the producers were being coached, then certain seasons would have gone in completely different directions. Jeff Probst, the host, is notorious for playing favorites and getting all pissy when his favorites don't win. They've even modified the show by turning the final two into the final three and adding a plethora of twists in order to have Probst's "favorites" win, and these twists have backfired more often than they have
