I really love it . The sound of the water is very peaceful
I like how you made it natural with the stones in there and those plants awesome job!!
Water heater is a MUST for winter months with snow. I live in South Florida so I don;t have to worry about that, but I still get the heater in case I want fishies in my pond in the future. Thank you for your video. This has helped.🥰
This is perfect! I just got a 40 gal today and am looking for ideas. Thank you!
Love the set up. I can sit and watch it all.day 😍
Can you give more detail on how you created the rock waterfall?
Pump is good for the waterfall. But if you're adding fish, you'd want a filter..I did mine where I drilled 2 holes and added a bulkhead so the outflow and return is under water
If you add fish, they will need some type of shade for the hot summer months in that sunny location.
For the few days we had of freezing temps, I took out the plants that were sticking above the rim and brought them inside. Then I had a large piece of Styrofoam from a mirror I saved that was placed on top. The heater was set at 68. It maintained at 67. It has a ton of fish, mollies and fathead minnows. Haven't lost a fish. My 40gallon pond is by my front door on a covered patio, so I dont have any overflow holes. There is a tinkling sound from the filter, but I want to add a waterfall like yours!
Looks great! You did a good job
so cool .. perfect set up
I’m new to the pond build and needs help on the filter can you explain more?
Awesome just built one with whiskey barrel, what fish did u end up using
Now I know what my 40 gallon stock tank is missing....light colored substrate. What a difference it makes love how bright your pond is, is that store-bought substrate or a mix of sand and gravel or what?
It will be green in a week
I used pieces of light colored flagstone. And some pieces are propped on others and it gives fish places to hide. Plants hide the filter.
Awesome!
how hot the water get under summer sun?
How do you keep the pond from turning green?
How did you winter this ? I'm worried about doing one and it cracks while I'm not home
any updates yet?
do you have trouble with it bowing?
It’s made for water 🤦🏻♂️
Have you had any luck getting frogs to come to your pond?
Is there a filter or just a pump in there?
Hey
Love the idea
Perhaps there is a way to hide the look of the tank?
I think you can plant around it and mask it with plants, rocks, branches, etc.
😍😍😍😍😍
2024 prices... $8000
not much room for a fish with all that rock.
Only big enough for 1 goldfish.
btw/ I have the same pond with 1 goldfish.
Nah 2 would be alright
The rocks will supply hiding spots for them. I think it turned out great, I like the light colored gravel, it really brightens it up.
I have this pond with about 25 small fish and it is doing great! No algae and I add rain water, but no water changes. It is heavily planted.
NICE IDEA BUT TOO SMALL FOR EVEN ONE GOLDFISH
Not true!
Only one goldfish will be ok in there
