We have the touring version of this van and just got back from 4 weeks in Tassie. We don't really sit around the van all day we prefer to go out then come back for a quick bit or Pub it. It was absolutely fantastic on those tight and steep road and found we it just perfect for these conditions. We do have a XTM side awning with a Kings under awning room which gives us somewhere to eat or relax at night without the mozzie. We towed with a new Mitsi Pajero Sport Exceed and got fantastic fuel economy. Thanks for your great tips.
Hi mate I have the same van and have used off grid in north WA , just want to let you know and others that the fridge does not need to be exactly level , still works just as well if on slight incline either way . Cheers mate
Hi mate. Bought new in 2020. Ball park was about 32k then, not sure how much they are now. There are a few second hand ones advertised on caravan forums/groups for sale. They seem to hold their value.
It does, i don’t think jayco make them new any more. We are both very tall and the single beds are long enough. The double would be difficult for us. Plus single beds are heaven. 31 years married lol.
Love the setup mate, nice and compact - no fuss and got everything you need !

Just a quick tip if you don't already know , when using the fridge put a fan inside makes a big difference.

I think the chameleon crusader van is better,it 12 feet long an have toilet,shower inside,sorry mate.
