I love when innocent people giving testimonies start freaking out and choking themselves with their scarves. It makes me really believe them!!
Fun fact! The 20/20 measurement of eyesight isn't a grading out of 20, but rather a measure that you can see at 20 feet what the average person can see at 20 feet. So when Wellington says he has 20/200 vision, that means he has to be 20 feet away from something that a normal person could see at 200 feet. Secondary fact, 20/200 vision is also the standard for legal blindness so he's technically legally blind without his glasses!
I've always wondered why it was 20 out of all things. Thanks for the fun fact!
ooh interesting, thanks for that!
Ah someone that makes you go "this guy fuckin sucks." An Ace Attorney playthrough has truly begun.
Ace Attorney Fun Fact!
Maggey Byrd's name comes from the Magpie bird that is said to bring bad luck, fitting seeing as she's called herself unlucky.
I forgot how much the Angel Attorney playthroughs bring out SungWon's inner tutor
3 episodes in and we're having real Angel moments this is great
One thing that I really like about this game is that it gave the Judge more character. It really leaned into a more comedic aspect of him, whereas in the first game, he was just kinda the voice of authority. I'm very glad this is how he is, because he's honestly one of my favorite characters in the whole series
"the UK? are those her boyfriend's initials?"
- the judge, 2017
RFTA did that too! Which makes sense since that was written post-T&T
Ace attorney definitely has a problem with letting the player know information waaay before the characters do, making it really awkward to progress. I definitely don’t blame angel for guessing with the phone too early
8:12 this bit got me so bad 😭😭
"my big naturals..."
"QUICK MIA- POSSESS ME"
You know, at the beginning of September, 6:30pm is still early enough that I would expect a public park to be decently busy. But somehow our only “innocent bystander” is this dingus? …Maybe the name “Exposé Park” scared everyone else off?
Oh yeah! After watching this again, I had a funny thought. When Wellington freaks out, he should have that commenter voice cause I can see him having that xD
You know what bothers me? Where was Maggey when the crime took place? Did she not witness who pushed her boyfriend to his death? Weren’t they waiting together for the phone’s owner to arrive? Why didn’t she just tell Nick “That’s the guy who did it!” Or even tell the police that??
That…is a very good point!
Don't remember but isn't it that her glasses are broken and her eyesight is bad. (And even if she did given the above it may not be taken seriously). Maybe not I don't remember fully bc it does seem strange but I just remembered this point
“why say many words when few do trick” freaking killed me.
one day, i gotta see that animated as phoenix….
Wellington has too nice of a design for such a dillweed, tragic 😔
Man...imagine if the prosecutor from the next case was here instead of Payne for this fucking obnoxious witness.
richard wellington: multi-track drifting
My headphones paused to tell me they were disconnected from my laptop *mid* "is that how fast you read?" "Uhh kinda" "**FU-**"
same tho sungwon. Esp the blaze thru reading without pausing on the art 😂
THR DRIFT KING
On lunch right on time, and man I have nothing to say other than this is definitely a tutorial case indeed…..
ProZD has the patience of a saint.
Yes we love this Rejected Cartoons reference!!
SungWon's seething tutor voice making me lock up even when I know the answer. Poor Angel 😭😭
Steve's Wellington voice is so on point
Who would win in more annoying nonstop chatter? Wellington or Oldbag?
Oldbag wins by a mile because she's lived longer, thus has more to chatter about.
@@Sara_HohmanI think Wellington is more annoying, because he has *less* to talk about.
Oldbag, definitely - she’s had decades more to practice
I think Wellington would win since he’d literally talk oldbag to death
oldbag for sure
A glove that looks like a bunch of bananas would be easily mistaken as actual bananas.
NOT THE A/C AD READ
"willing to" looks like a snobbish version of Jim Varney
The new music is very slow and chill? Like melancholic almost?
37:21 Charlie Brown Adult!?
20:30 y'all old. But then, so am I.
I will say if he could technically see 9 feet away at the defendants face, then why did he think the glove right in front of him was a bunch of bananas….? Shouldn’t he have been able to see that? Maybe they bring this up later and I just don’t remember but I feel like both things can’t be true lol
0:05 Rabble rabble rabble.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
0:50 Steve gives this guy the perfect voice.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
3:45 "God I hate you..."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
5:00 Rejected by Don Hertzfeldt
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
12:40 Every time Steve does that "mmm mmm mmm" I'm reminded of SungWon doing Von Karma.
Tsk tsk tsk.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
15:30 Banana!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
18:00 20/200? That is colossally awful. It means something that is clear to him at 20 ft. would be clear to someone with normal eyesight at 200 ft., in short he's legally blind.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
24:30 I mean, Maya and Steve and SungWon all basically told Angel what to do...
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
29:40 Breakthrough!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
33:40 Here is it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
38:25 Cliffhanger on one of these sort of choices.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Larry is the worst of someone with a type b personality.
