How many times can I say this? - Bill Conti is as responsible for the emotional (get fired up)experience that comes from the music of these films as much as the experience you get from the scripts, the actors, and the takes. The music weaves it all together. Well done Bill and well done Sly!
When people say things like- 'people who make movies aren't saving lives, are they?', I feel sorry that the understanding of the power of inspiration, has gone completely over their heads. I'm alive today, and in preproduction to direct my first feature, specifically because of these movies and others like them. If these movies weren't made, I wouldn't be here today.
