My advice for men with similar problems, it's okay to acknowledge you were victimized or abused, but you are 100% in control of how you respond to that trauma. You can acknowledge you are a victim without acting like one and that says more about a man's character than anything else.

I never realized just how lucky I was to have found my wife when we were young (she was 16, I was 17). And the fact that my mother, stepfather and her parents were so steadfast on telling us the way we should behave, not the way that we always did behave, but the way we should strive to be. 22 years later, I’ve been married to her for 12 years, and have four children. We built our house together, and have all these years of memories, growing and learning together. It’s not a fairytale, it’s not always easy, but it’s far better than trying to find the love of your life amongst a landscape of pitfalls, heartache and turmoil. Eradication of bullying in schools was a mistake.
Ummm…. No. No it wasn’t. I was incessantly bullied in school because from 9-11 grade, I was 4’9”. There were kids that made my life hell daily. Coaches wouldn’t let me join any sports because I was too short, even though before I went to high school, I was in a private school with K-12 grade, and I was the only junior higher to make it on the varsity baseball team. Never got a shot in my new school. It did a lot of damage to my self esteem my guy. I did fight back some times and it never ended well for me. Took me a long time to work through that stuff. I still have some issues to this day because of some of the stuff that was said and done to me. These two morons are mad because Brian held the girls accountable. Big difference. I’ve never had a problem when I did something wrong and got yelled at for it. Brian gives clear instructions to follow for his podcast, and some girls don’t care. If you fuck up, take responsibility for it. Be a man. Or be a woman about it. Plus, I’ve given this some careful thought over the past couple years. Telling bullies to stop being bullies isn’t wrong. For one, it doesn’t help kids who get bullied for whatever reason. And it also doesn’t help the bullies, who typically have something in their life that makes them lash out at others. We had a kid who lost both his mother and sister in 8th grade. He was a bit different. Kept his head down all day around the halls, dressed differently than most kids, and rarely talked to anyone. Kid was bullied constantly, so much so that he ended up killing himself. So no, bullying absolutely should be dealt with. The problem is that these two morons see accountability as “bullying”.
