I am a huge Elvis fan and l never thought anyone would come close to his great voice but this guy is close
Listen to Ben Portsmouth, Bill Cherry or Pete Storm...just three of many who are much better than this guy, as good as he is, how anyone can say he sounds like Elvis is beyond me, he sings very well in the style of Elvis...not like him.
I can't say he sounds so much like Elvis, it's the emotion he puts in to the songs that I relate to, if he would only embark on an Australian tour I'd be right there
@@paulwest1813 And that is the point. He gives a tribute to Elvis, he is not trying to do an imitation of him. Not his haircut, not his suit, just Bouke sings Elvis. And yes they have quite similar voices, but they are no copies.

My husband just told my about Bouke and I just absolutely love his voice! This is a great tribute band. I want to hear more and see more. Can’t wait to show my mom she is the reason I love Elvis today. I grew up listening to his music not knowing that as I got older I too would grow to love the music❤. He has a huge career in the Netherlands, stays close to home, loves his sons, You will never see him wear a wig or a fancy suit, he doesn't need all that. He belongs to the Netherlands, we had Elvis. Read about him, he's fascinating. Most of his interviews are in Dutch though.

With this man's reincarnation of Elvis' voice, the world has the opportunity to hear Elvis sing songs we wish he was still here to sing. Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen would be my 1st pick. Bourke is truly the absolute best Elvis impersonator I have ever heard. I also love the fact that he does his own style. He just sings like Elvis.

He is not an elvis impersonator, just does some tributes. He has a HUGE Dutch career in the Netherlands, Most of his stuff is in Dutch and you can't find a cd on Amazon international, always sold out.

If you check in CZcams and Google you will find he has a lot of other songs not just Elvis and he has his own original songs which I am falling in love with. A true talent. You can find on Apple, Spotify and Amazon too.

He has a huge successful career in his homeland, The Netherlands, and stays close to home for his sons. He is a great family man. Most of his music is in Dutch. He does these tribute shows for the worldwide Elvis fans, and we thank him for that. You can't find his cd's, they are always sold out.

@@kimbailey7201 No he is not an Elvis impersonator. He only pays tribute to Elvis. He has been doing tributes for about 20 years but he is from the Netherlands. He was invited to Graceland twice to perform at Elvis' memorials and also has played with Elvis' band and back up singers in Europe but since having his boys he does not want to tour. He is so amazing.
He has a lot of his own music too in both English and Dutch. People are falling in love with him like Elvis because he is the whole package. A phenomenal singer, dancer and so charismatic.

I do get the goosebumps and I cry every time. Elvis died when I was 17 and I could not watch his movies or listen to any of my records, my albums, or my eight track tapes of him. Now I have the whole array set up in my office, where I listen as I do work.

It's all he needs. He is a Dutch singer, like elvis was an American singer. He does the tributes for us, his voice is natural, and he has grown from a 20 yr old singer to a 40-something yr old sensation. He has been to the US a couple of times, by invitation, to Graceland to do Anniversary tributes.

I’ve been an Elvis fan ever since I first bought my record in my teens, afterwards, I bought many records and CDs with Elvis songs, including his gospel music. His songs and music came from within his heart and soul. Bouke also seems to have that same compassionate voice. Elvis loved music and loved to sing in front of audiences. Elvis music touched many hearts, mine included, and my favorites being… In the Getto, Flaming Star, Blue Hawaii, Suspicious Minds, Kentucky Rain, including many of his gospel songs. I would listen to all his songs all day long, and if you truly listened, they also told stories from the heart. RIP Elvis….may your songs and legacy endure for others to follow. 👍👍❤️❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
He is so grounded. He is all about his boys and family which is why he won't tour outside Netherlands and Belgium area. What a breath of fresh air he is. He is so talented beyond measure. He not only does tribute songs to Elvis but has lots of his own great music in both English and Dutch. So good

Outstanding! I’ve been an Elvis fan since I was 4 and saw him on TV, 51 yers ago. I love this, he’s awesome. Love the fact he doesn’t try to look or dress like Elvis. He’s got the sound and the moves though. I’m thoroughly impressed. I know Elvis would approve of him. I’m so happy I happened upon this.

I can barely remember him, his smile, and how nice he was with his fans. Elvis was just a shy young man who LOVED singing for his momma. Once he got famous, his dream was to buy a home for his parents. Elvis gave so much of himself and gave people gifts. He LOVED people and loved being loved by everyone.
