If there is ever a caste reservation it should be for all religions because all the religions in India including Islam and Christianity have caste systems . It should be on the basis of economic status only but our politicians only want reservation to divide Hindus as they already have minorities voting as a bloc for them.

Caste census is not desirable for the simple reason that the people will be persuaded to say this caste or that caste by vested interest and the real picture will not emerge.moreover there is lot of inter caste inter religion marriage the persons born through inter caste marriages have no caste...waste of time and money 😅😅😅
