Bought the JLAB Pop buds after watching the separate review you did on them, and for the money, they're superb. Thanks guys!

I really haven't had great luck with Aftershokz. Been through 3 pairs. First pair just randomly died 3 weeks after I bought them. Returned them and replaced with the Aeropex one because I thought maybe it was sweat that caused them to stop working. Battery life in the Aeropex claims 8-10 hours, but dies after roughly 3 hours of just listening to music connected to my watch. Fine when I was running an hour at a time, but as I increased my time running, this is a deal breaker. I did a warranty return. Got the replacement and they seem to have the same problem, if not worse. Considering my training runs consistently goes over 4 hours of running, I need an alternative.
Heh, guess it is good for you. I don't really watch these type of reviews except when I'm actively looking for new things. Thanks for putting out the content!

I’ve had 2 pairs of Jaybird Vistas and BOTH pair had charging issues. Eventually, one bud would not charge at all. One pair came direct from Jaybird as a new replace, ent for the first pair. Both pair lasted about 3 months. After that, Jabras are all I use. They are reliable, whereas the Jaybirds are garbage.

The same happened to me. I would avoid Jaybirds at all costs. I’ve got a £30 true wireless pair from Amazon now that are much more reliable

I've used 2 pairs of Jaybird, the 13hr corded ones. And I don't think I'll ever buy them again. I'll look at Jabra again

@@jaredtopilko1313 I just picked up a set of JBL Endurance Race ear buds. For $79 they punch above the price and even look like Jaybird Vista’s form factor! 10hr. battery life, IP67, Bluetooth 5.2. The Vistas sounded a bit deeper but for the price and reliability difference….maybe check those out too.

Thanks again for the review. Maybe I'll finally find true wrireless headphones that can tolerate humidity.
Although I love my Shokz Aeropex, I've run a marathon with a temperature of +5c and 90% humidity, and unfortunately they didn't last more than 2h45 even after being fully charged. I've noticed on several runs that whenever the battery drains the volume will tune down for 2-3s.
This is my second pair (and I won't return them) and those headphones really do not like humidity, much like the Powerbeats. I think it may have to do with the charging pins being exposed to sweat and water.
So as someone who runs a marathon between roughly 3h15-3h45, I'm still at a loss because so far
Powerbeats = hate humidity ... will turn off after 45min even by -5c
Aeropex = hate humidity ... weak battery life
    Vista 2 = horrendous connectivity

I was a bit surprised on the Jaybirds Vista. I have the Beats Fit Pro and the Jaybirds X3. I have used the X3 for a very long time but my last set is seeing the effects of age so I got the Beats Fit Pro and it's my primary in the gym. Lately I haven't worn anything outside. The Jaybirds X3 have better fit and secure fit but the BFP works really well with the iPhone. I have never been able to hold Apple's traditional headsets - they just fall out of my ear when I move. They are very popular but they don't work for me. I also don't use Fenix-based music as reception isn't that good with any headset I've tried but it's interesting that the Jabra works well. One problem that I've had in the past is that the transceiver to the watch is on the right but the watch is on the left. Wearing the watch on the right or the transceiver on the left does improve things. I do not need an upgrade now but will keep the Jaybirds in mind. They have been my primary suppler for a very long time, since the Jaybirds X came out.

I used Jaybird x3 and Tarah Pro (same fit) and they are still my favourite but the right ear always goes super quiet after a bit so I end up trying others but they’re never as good. I’ve now got Vistas and they’re brilliant but I still worry vos occasionally one falls out if I sweat a lot esp on indoor training where it’s hot. Just don’t buy the Sony as they’re agggggony. I love the security of the wire round your neck so you can just have a little break without worrying about dropping one.

    • @movdqa
      @movdqa Před 2 lety +1

@@notmyrealname6272 The Beats Fit Pro gets loose in my ear because it is one size fits all. The wing is a little small for my ear while the Jaybirds have different sizes. I liked the Jaybirds X2s as well and wish I had stocked up on the wired ones. The X3s can get a little loose but it's rare. I have had the BFP fall out a few times and once under a piece of equipment and had to get down on the floor to retrieve it. Amazon sells X3s refurbished but they are hit and miss as to how good they are. I'm hoping that Apple makes something with a better fit in the future because I like the easy pairing. But will consider the Vistas.

Hello! I have a Garmin Venu 2 and Samsung Buds headphones and the problem I have is that when I walk the headphones lose the signal when my hand with the watch moves away, that is, every time I move my hand back and forth when walking it cuts the audio, it is very annoying. I think the bluetooth signal from the headphones is weak. So I don't know which headphones to buy that have a strong bluetooth signal. Greetings from Buenos Aires!!!

Are there still ongoing issues with Jaybirds pairing with Garmin? There's a lot of internet literature suggesting compatibility issues/spontaneous disconnection during use.
