jimin is my bias💜💜
Jimin is incredibly agile and moves so elegantly...and his facial expressions are not strained even when performing difficult moves. His training in contemporary dance shows in the way the moves his body even while not performing. I am sad that he isn't able to train more in contemporary dance so he able to keep up his skill level as he matures. Flexibility and nimbleness are hard to maintain unless you practice a lot. But I'm glad members aren't required to strain their bodies now as they did when they began. It will be very interesting to see how they will mature as a group in their chapter 2, and beyond.

[Updated] A lot of his skills, and his very incredible proprioception - his awareness of where his body is in space, are due in large part to years of martial arts training. He has a black belt in taekwondo. He studied kendo, known as kumda or something like that in Korea, for 8 years. He studied other martial arts as well. I'm really surprised that this video didn't show anything about his martial arts work. I get the impression but I don't know for sure that his martial arts training started before any dance training.

Listening to your outro, I'm reminded that some of Jimin's cute moves that look like physical ad libs are actually self-treatment with acupressure or self-application of chiropractic adjustments. Some of his interactions with the other members during a performance, or that we see in the backstage footage, is that as well. There's one moment that I just saw yesterday, of him crying because ARMY's are singing one of the BTS songs to them, where his face goes through a lot of expressions as he pinches acupressure points at the top of the bridge of his nose to stop the crying, so he can prevent his eyes and nasal passages from getting inflamed from the crying action, which would prevent him from breathing and seeing correctly. He knows a lot about the human body and how to take care of himself and how to take care of others. He's incredibly impressive. I've been watching him for three years. I'm going through a long physical rehab myself, and I learn a lot about both courage and techniques by watching what he does.
You know the back-hugging that he does to the members sometimes on stage? Or the way he handles the guys who are upset on stage in front of the public? He is calming their vagus nerve to prevent heart arrhythmias to avoid fainting or collapsing. A couple of times I've seen him literally stroke the chest of one of the other members, with that intent. (I know about that technique because I have to use that myself sometimes.)
I'm going going to check to see if you have a Twitter. If you do I'll send a tweet I saw yesterday of an interaction between Jimin and Jung Kook which will blow your mind. It's not about something physical, it's about how one person takes care of another when they feel down. I can't put the link here because CZcams will segregate this comment.
Thank you for writing this. Most people don't know about these things and assume other things. I am happy that Jimin cares as much as he does for his members well being!!! Also, for his own well being. A dancer who works their body hard has a small window unless they take great care of themselves. Even then there are no guarantees. Have a Great Day! ✌💜

Jimin is astonishing - the things he can do, the control he has over his body. All this athletic and martial arts ability, along with impeccable dancing, beautiful dancing and amazing singing, not to mention his natural physical beauty... it's not fair. But I'm not honestly complaining. ;) FWIW, Jimin has a black belt in taekwondo, as do JK and Jin. I've also heard it said that when dancing, Hobi is made of rubber but Jimin is water. I think that's pretty accurate.
Jimin is air. The lightest on his feet I've ever seen since Fred Astaire.
Thank you Rob! I actually have not seen this- the is great. I noticed there has been a lot of 'new' Jimin compilations lately. He is athletic yet so elegant. He does have a black belt in Taekwondo and 8 yrs of Kendo (sword fighting). The new videos that have come out greatly details his athletic and dance achievements. How can one be so strong yet look and move so elegant? It was impressive to see and be reminded of his talents.

❤️JIMIN, born October 13, 1995, at age 11, started studying, performing, & competing (winning every competition), in hip hop, popping (excelled), & street dancing, while attending the renowned Just Dance Academy in Busan where he's from! He was so good that an instructor even had the high tuition fee waived at one point! This was while also attending middle school, where he loved sports, being quite athletic, joined the football team, excellent at track, great at basketball, & billiards! Jimin also, all throughout his schooling, was known as a top scholar, achieving perfect scores, especially in math & science which just always came easy to him! Jimin was even class president for 9 yrs in a row! Jimin, all throughout his schooling, was also quite good in art class, as well as calligraphy.
Jimin, then also took up contemporary dance. The media, after seeing a performance of Jimin's performing at a huge Busan Festival Event, called Jimin "The rising star of Busan"!! JIMIN also studied ballet & traditional Korean dance while attending Busan High School of the Arts. Jimin still went to Just Dance Academy to take hip hop classes whenever he could because his first love has always been hip hop, even though he was now majoring in contemporary! JIMIN even had an offer to dance overseas, but declined because he also wanted to become a singer since the 2nd grade, to the dismay of one of his dance instructors who said "The world of dance was going to lose a great artist"!!
So Jimin then went and auditioned for BigHit Entertainment, (company BTS is signed with), being the very last member to join, being a trainee for only a few months (which is unheard of for most Kpop idols), as opposed to the 2-3 yrs of being a trainee the other members had! But Jimin was so good that he was assigned the official title of one of the two Main Dancers, as well as Lead Vocalist. Jimin was even assigned most of the high notes since the very beginning, because even without all that training in the beginning, he was that good, a natural born singer who, just like his dancing makes you feel every emotion and feeling he's trying to convey!

Jimin is a black belt in Taekwondo and is a Kendo master having studied it for 8 years. He studied hapkido and other martial arts. Classically trained dancer and was top student. He learned popping and locking so there's nothing he can't do. An outstanding person with outstanding skills and charms. So beautiful too. Whatever it is he has it.

Jimin trained in several martial arts for over eight years-including Kendo, Hopkido and Taekwondo, which he achieved a black belt in. He was invited to China to study Chinese Martial Arts. Jimin is also trained in Contemporary, Modern, Hip-Hop, Street Style Dance and Ballet, and was at the top of his class at Busan High School of Arts. As you can see Park Jimin is a well trained all round athlete.
At first year of Busan High school of Art (One of the top 5 most prestigious Art high school), Jimin was so gifted in dance that school board specially has sent Jimin who is only 1st year dance major student with some other selected 3rd years dance major students to attend short term ‘Chinese acrobatic dance training’ which last for a week.
This training course is only available to selected 3rd years students who shows great talents in dancing to improve their skills.
According to school magazine, Jimin was the only 1st year student who have got selected for this training course in entire school history until now.
Also magazine said Jimin has 2 other records which hasn’t broken yet.
First, Jimin is the only student who has earned the top mark on both academic high school entry exams & another top mark on practical dance exam to admit BuSan high school of Art(one of the 5 most prestigious Art high schools) dance department which made him the top student(No. 1) of entire students who have got accepted at year 2011.
They said it has never happened to any student of dance department except Jimin which means that Jimin made another historical record in Busan high school of Art.
Second one is more fun.
Jimin is the only student who is indirectly responsible for breaking the door of school toilets.
During his 1st years of yearly school festival, Jimin has taken off his thick black glasses, wear contact lenses, wear little bit of stage makeup, expose his great half naked physique to dance on stage for school’s yearly performances.
Right after his performance, some of female students was so in love with his looks & dance that they have started to chase after him.
So Jimin ran & hide himself in toilet but these ladies didn’t stop.
Instead they all came in to this toilet, tried to open the door forcefully where Jimin was hiding & end up breaking the toilet door.
This also was never happened in school history as well.
So Jimin made 3 very impressive historical records in Busan high school of Art which still hasn’t broken yet.
Bonus:
Jungkook also trained in taekwondo from a young age. also has a black belt in taekwondo. Jungkook reached red-and-black belt (advanced) level.

Чимин хороший друг, сейчас внимание сфокусировано было на Джине, в связи с альбомом и армией, потом на Гуки с ЧМ, впереди др Джина и РМ с альбомом. Бантаны никогда не перекрывают контент друг друга, вот видимо и наш не отвлекает внимание от чужих событий.
Никто из нас не знает его лично, поэтому остаётся ждать, надеяться и не верить провокаторам. Сохраняем спокойствие и ждём. Его появление всегда оправдывает все ожидания.
I'm not sure which show or movie it was in (I'm positive a fellow ARMY will know,) but a physio or doctor was helping Jimin with his knees and how much pain he is in from them and the advice given to Jimin is to stop whats he does to stop the pain. And we all know that answer. His knees are basically shot - to sum it up. That show was between 2015-19 so just imagine his pain now when he performs. He loves his craft and for that we love him, and all the boys (men) for their scarifices.
