He caught my ear and my heart early on. But his rendition of "This is Me" is the best I've ever heard. I don't say it often, but this young man just out did the original, hands down. For me, this just became his song.
Only half way through, and my favorite of the season switched. This kid's pitch, tone, and timber are spot on. After the flash back to his dad's audition, he definitely did not learn this from his dad, unless dad has gotten loads better. This is either from mom, or pure raw talent this young man was born with. And for someone who was bullied sooo much to hit that stage with such a sense of self awareness, he is so inspiring for so many, and not just kids.
Those high notes are unbelievable. No falsetto needed. Tone is perfect!

Sans his young age, Jordan at 14 y.o. is more mature than boys his age and some young adults who are aware of inner feelings. Jordan's musical talent is not only magnified but the way he interprets and performs each song he sings. Really an amazing young man! 😍💜🎶🎤👏👋

Oh my! How does a 14 year old have this kind of maturity in his voice. I can only hope his career does not explode because of the way that world is because if we are able to follow this amazing talent for the next 20, 30, 40, 50 years he will be an incredible force challenging and honoring all of the greats before and probably after him.

I can't even tell you how many times I've come back to watch his "journey" (along with all of my other favorites of course❤). He undoubtedly has an amazing voice - but is also able to relay the story && emotions of the song/lyrics, has great stage presence, perfect balance of laid-back && humble + confident && powerful.
