Im so happy you all decided to do a review on the Interview with the Vampire series. I feel like the show does not get talked about enough compared to other shows which are not nearly as good as this show. I personally think it has to due to the main characters being gay, which is probably turning some people awayfrom watching it. But like I said before, if you can pass that, the show is a great watch and you will not be disappointed.
It was an amazing show and we both loved it so it was only right we discussed it and we hope our passion was felt

1:06:22 I have read multiple interviews both from 2022 and recently where Sam Reid was asked if Lestat killed Paul and he has said no. Rolin Jones the show runner and Anne Rice also said Lestat had nothing to do with Paulâs death. And it makes sense because if he had killed Paul he would have killed the rest of Louisâ family especially mama du lac because she was always a bitch to Louis. Also, Lestat offered Louis the dark gift after Paulâs death because he sensed Louis was going to off himself and he was trying to prevent that from happening.
Also, Sam Reid and Jacob Anderson discuss in another interview that I canât find at the moment because it came out shortly after episode 7 and thereâs too many interviews but anyway, Sam and Jacob talked about how the scene where Lestat was saying Louis hunted him, although not true, for Lestat it was that he could feel Louisâ attraction for him. So basically in a way, they were both feeling each other and Louis was open to that but yeah Lestat was def doing the â vampire huntingâ.
Yea, I would have hated for Paulâs death to be caused my Lestat, so glad that wasnât the case. His mom was extra rude AF for no reason smh, especially when she blamed him for Paulâs death. Letâs just say, I wasnât too sad seeing her in that casket đđ. But that sounds dope, since we saw it from Louieâs POV in S2, so to see how Lestat explained it đźâđšđźâđš. Iâm sure he added some extra petty sauce in there for âtheater opticsâ but those are great points. Thank you so much for sharing and hope you enjoyed our review.

The finale was so incredible. The reveal, acting, etc. Iâm happy Armand got exposed and we got to see Louis and Lestat reunite. The whole season was a masterpiece

Episode 5 and 8. Especially 8, because how Armand let Daniel breakup a 70 year relationship and let Daniel walk out the house unscratched. Lol
