For years Bond No. 9 is the one House that consistently gets me the highest amounts of compliments from women on my skin, period. The reactions and compliments this house gets my are stunning! Women love this stuff on me and rave about it on men. And, in my business, I'm often around a lot of women.
Now the fragrance community likely won't agree, but that's beside the point. Honestly, I was shocked at the amount of negative comments on many boards and wondered "are we talking about the same Bond?" or "have you ever worn any of their fragrances around non frag heads?" because if I could record some the reactions they would go viral. Human nature is to follow the crowd and if someone tells you something is good or bad before you experience it your perception is tainted, no one can escape that fact. Personally, I try remain objective in spite of what many say with regards to many things include fashion & fragrance because if it works, it works. Many dislike or outright "hate" the house on principal alone and maybe that's a good thing for me if it works, it works.

Man you are speaking absolute facts. Manhattan was my first bond I like it for its uniqueness. My fiancé LOVES IT. When we have date nights that’s requested hands down over anything else don’t know why but if that’s what she likes im the one to give it to her. I completely agree with you! Scent of Peace and Bleecker Street get great compliments, but Fragrantica and it’s cronies don’t give them enough credit. Just because we like something or think it’s synthetic, doesn’t mean the ladies like it or hate it. Nice review!

I can't stop watching this video... You show some fine jewels of perfumery, especially my 3 babies (Shelter, NY Oud, and Perfumista). My future BN9 buys are Signature (OH MY GOD!), NY Musk, Manhattan (Fly me to the mooooon!!!!), Wall Street and Bleecker. Buys for my GF... I just want to get her a 1,000 gallon bottle of Chinatown... IT SMELLS SO AMAZING ON HER! Creamy, seductive and very inviting. I do not know why people hate on this amazing house... Let them hate... more bottles remain for us BN9 lovers, right? To this day one of my favorite scents hands down is Bond No 9 Bleeker St.
In my collection I have. West Side, Bleecker St, Lafayette St, New York Nights, Sutton Pl, and New Haarlem.
I jumped on Scent of Peace after watching a few reviews. As soon as I opened the box, I knew there was something special about this house. I hope to add to the collection very soon.
Thanks to you Kevin I recently enter the Bond World. Started with Manhattan, Dubai Amber, Signature, and NY oud. Got candies(bon bon) for Chez Bond, NY Amber, Bleecker, Perfumista Ave, Chinatown, eau de Ny and Riverside.
Also got my nose on and liked Coney Island, Soho, Scent of Peace M, and NY nights

I've tried a few from Bond but Harrods Oud Patchouli really stands out for me, and is one of my favourite fragrances. I've nearly used up my small decant though :( I've found them pretty difficult to sample here in the UK...
Thats one of my my favorites as well. I layer Harrods Oud Patchouli with Harrods Agarwood. That's when I get the most compliments on a fragrance.

Great vid. I actually like a lotta Bond scents, but I don't own any. Another house that has a love/hate thing going on is Amouage. It's probably my favorite niche house... they always produce the most original, unorthodox and unique fragrances which might not suit everyone's tastes... which is fine by me.

I were NY Patchouli more in the warmer months because of the bright, citrusy almost grapefruit notes. I bought it, Sag, and Shelter tonight. Summer time bliss.

I just bought that bond no 9 eau de ny for my wife based on the bottle presentation. I smelled it and hijacked that shit. It's unisex, but when I smelled it I'm like this is for a man clearly.

I've owned it since it's release date and love it. It's a very bold brash rose that plays well year round, but especially in cooler (less than 70) locations. Enjoy!

NYP with Chinatown or Andy to add sweetness. Or Jo Malone Red Rose to brighern up the rose water (another secret weapon I use this a lot) or Wild Bluebell for softness. Velvet Rose & Oud body oil is my favorite mix with NYP

NYP is a tricky one. Depends on what you are going for I settle most things down with Signature, brighten things up with Little Italy and blend with Chez Bond.

Perfumista is more bolder. Manhattan is sweeter and somewhat more universal. Different situations.

Would it be possible for you to do a video where you find fragrances from the designer realm that remind you of or have traits from Bond fragrances? I can't afford Bond but I can afford most designer, and I'd love to try some that had the feel of Bond fragrances. One I've gotten ahold of recently was Pure Tonka which does remind me of Bond's New Haarleem.
Check out my inexpensive video there are some very niche like fragrances on there also well. I keep the idea in mind though. Thanks.
