For large part yes, I'm older now and is why bought a 2020 shadow after a 25+ year hiatus. I do not need to go triple digit speeds anymore(150+). Though I would if it could hence the smaller bike

Thank you for the video. I live in the Ozark Mountains in the boonies! I got my Trail 125 3 months ago and can't stay off of her. The nearest village is 7 miles and the nearest town (6,000 people) is 25 miles away. My 4X4 , roadster and SUV stay in the garage while I pick up supplies using the Honda!!! I've installed a new Diablo seat, wind deflector, metal basket, two motorcycle carry pouches ( for tools, tire inflation canister, registration and other gear) and an engine guard with highway pegs to stretch out your legs for longer trips.

I have been looking at this bike for awhile now and I'm going to buy one. I really enjoyed your video and I would gladly watch more of you riding around on yours. I'm getting older so going fast is not my preference. I just want to cruise around the neighborhoods and go fishing. I can imagine putting on a crate like you did and attaching self made rod holders on it. I'm really excited to get one. 👍🙂

That's in the same 2-wheeler class as the Honda Aero 125 2-stroke scooter I owned way back in the mid-1980's! It was _'Honda'_ reliable also, as it never failed to start in the 2 or 3 years that I owned it.
P.S. It was just a tad too slow to comfortably use on 2-lane highways (and FORGET the Interstate!!!). I replaced it with a 294cc "standard" motorcycle which did 95mph if you were that brave. I only did it once just to find out. But it would cruise "all day" (seemingly) at 75 to 80 on the Interstate which is all you need. IIRC it still returned about 45mpg going that fast. With no windscreen though I preferred going 65mph on 2-lane highways, which I did far more of.

When I passed my Theory Motorcycle test one part was a video of driving through a town and you had to click the mouse each time you perceived a hazard. I clicked for every feature, signs, people on the path, parked cars, junctions, trees, bends. And I had a high score, because those are all hazards, in fact just riding is hazardous.

You can get clones tho for around a grand new. Ssr has the lazer 5 which actually came out before the new Honda and has disc brakes but only 50cc and pedals. Same motor mounts as an amazon pitbike motor. So for around 1700 you could have a new fancy one just not technically street legal until you go thru some hoops.

yikes! don't wait man... do what you gotta do to find it and get it. that's crazy!!! I literally discovered this bike less than 2 weeks ago.... Love at first sight! I had to have it!!! only to come to the disappointing realization that this little hot item is a ghost everywhere! Thanks to Quasimotard youtube channel, I left a comment similar to yours, and he told me, that he heard that Florida just got a few. So I immediately start hitting up random FL dealerships...boom i find one...and dude asking $6,400!!! $1500 freigh n prep fees! i'm like wtf. so i start leaving comments in different videos to get a sense of what other people paid for theirs, etc... and my buddy PSBE Advertures told me that he got his in GA for like $4200 out the door. So i hit those people up.... they tell me they got one... I said I'll take it... and they told me I had to be there in person to sign n receive it... So me living in NJ, had to fly to JAX, rent a pick up truck, drive north to the dealership, load the bike, and drive back 13hrs to NJ.... When there's a will, there's a way.
I also found other dealers in FL that would only sell to locals cuz they count on you coming back for maintenance/repairs, etc..
one guy in PA said he only ever received and sold 3, meanwhile has 29 people on a waiting like...wtf??? why would you do that.. smh.
another guy in NC told me he sold 2 to out of state guys MA and NJ, and he has people from Canada and Europe calling him asking if he has any.. shit is crazy!
Still can't believe I have one. It's surreal.

You failed to mention just how fast the bike is, and nothing about acceleration, ride or brakes. You also failed to mention its most useful feature that giant rack in the back.

I think wrecking a fast bike at 50 mph would probably be as bad as wrecking the slope at 50 mph.

Lock the handle bars, get a brake caliber alarm\lock, park in conspicuous places, don't skimp on insurance. I do worry about it but try not to let it ruin my fun.

Yeah so I take a few precautions, it's not cool proof but I park it in a court yard on a locked patio, under a bike cover, plus a few more precautions. I also have a tracker on it so I can see where it's at at all times.

You should make a bungee strap so you dont lose things again. Then again, dont, because some homeless guy is saying to himself "OH SWEET, I JUST FOUND A HAT, COOL!" 🤘😁
