Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

The best part is that I actually get this
I love Hau.
I mean, you've got the game's supply of edginess out of Gladion, and I love how Hau calls him out on it. And unlike most nice, cheerful characters, he's not an idiot, not shallow. He not blind to how the world works, yet he still loves every bit of it. He's got a casual attitude, never obsessing over being the best like some other rivals, but he understands that it will take a lot to become the best trainer in Alola, and acknowledges that sometimes he fails to put in that effort.
He seems just like the kind of well-balanced person I'd like to be friends with in real life.
Plus, he has a great battle theme.

Yes, one of the things Red did was learn to compose music in the 3 years between Gen 1 and 2. He also learned Karate, Buddhism, Ninja arts, how to become a Hollow, abuse mystical items to win in a children's game, became a pirate with a busty Navigator, and made the perfect CUP.

It has a lot more energy and is a bit more serious, but still has the same spirit as the original. And when the main part kicks in at 0:55, it reminds you that you're still fighting the buddy who's been with you since the beginning, only giving everything you've got this time. I can't get enough of this theme. I love the sports whistles added to it too.
Chubomik Z I played ultra moon a ways back, but finally had the time to pick up ultra sun and just beat him today. Listening to the old theme sure did get me sentimental about the last few battles. I will miss Alola.
The whistles remind me of a lifeguard at a beach or pool whistling at kids being too rowdy. Lol.

Honestly I love this theme. It's just so "Hau," but it has just the right amount of intensity at the right moments to remind you that this IS a champion battle.

Thanks to Ultra Sun and Moon Hau became my second favorite rival. He felt like he had more of a purpose in this game rather than the others. I personally believe that Hau is the "nice" rival idea done perfectly.

I felt bad for sweeping him with Golisopod but damn this really did feel epic.

Noivern managed to kill my Ribombee, and Tauros OHKOd my Naganadel.
By the end I am a beast even tho I turned off exp share because I invest so much on Larvitar and It pid off when it finally fully evolved to tyranitar.

i thought i'd kick his ass easy-peasy since i'd already beaten vanilla Sun/Moon, but in the end, it was both of us down to our last pokemon (our starters, even, lol)
he made the mistake of not finishing off my decidueye and his primarina got an Overgrow-boosted leaf blade to the schnoz. VERY, very intense battle

When I first played Ultra Sun, I stuck with mostly the same team for the main story and didn't swap in Necrozma. Each one of my Pokemon was able to defeat one of his, and it was probably one of the most enjoyable Pokemon battles I've ever had. It really felt like a team effort.

What makes Hau better in this game is that Guzma was the one who initiated the change in Hau’s personality, making him consider why he’s on his journey

His Eeveelution had Quick Attack, Baby Doll Eyes and Charm for god's sake.
Blue's Rhydon had Tail Whip and Leer so idk what you're on about
SoulSnatcher [Mewtwo] Blue's Rydon was the main awful standout on his team. But that was also the first game in the series, that also didn't seem to have the greatest budget or dev playtesting put in.
And more notably. In the rerelease (Yellow,) his team was changed around notably to be more solid overall (something Ultra SuMo should have done with Hau.)
Plus in Fire Red and Leaf Green, he has his same team, but improved to be more inline with the competency of modern moveset selection (which is why Hau's Eevee's moveset being so bad is laughable.)
I love what they did with hau. They did an amazing job turning his character around from SM. That being said, I still had a counter to each of his Pokémon, though a few of them did faint before I won
in the first game was hard to even remember him, now at least I can remember him doing something!

As somebody who has played all main series Pokemon games, any Pokemon game can be easy; it just depends on strategy and experience. Sure, past pokemon games often required a lot of grinding, but that's time consuming, not difficult.
Music reminds me more of iris champion theme
After being a criminal and playing it early, this game as a whole does not disappoint.
Been playing the game and it actually is pretty hard. I was several levels ahead of some pokemon yet I had a hard time defeating them
Kukui in SM was the harder final boss fight in my experience, but I actually find Hau's final battle in USUM to be much more memorable in a story-wise sense. It also helps that both our teams were evenly matched and that we both came down to our starters being our last Pokemon.
And my boy Still hasnt made an appearance and is none canon in the anime :(

i actually liked Hau more in USUM than I did in SM. to me he was like the Toad of the story in the first games, but now he’s really fulfilling his wishes to get stronger and prove to the player (and his gramps) that’s he’s making an effort. it’s amazing.

THANK YOU. Hau is a million times better in Ultra SM! It felt like everything was leading up to this point with you and him. He doesn't want to be like his grandfather, he wants to shine in his own way, and wants others to shine and be happy in their own ways too! Who doesn't love that? He grew up with and because of you. Honestly, Hau has become my favorite rival out of the series with this game.

When I first heard this theme, at the start, I was relatively disappointed, because while I love the champion theme from the original Sun and Moon, I wanted something new. But then, the new part came in and I was like- "OH THIS IS GOOD I LIKE THIS.", and not only that, but I played through the whole game with no EXP. Share, so this battle was actually a challenge, and I loved it!

I also turn off exp share after the tutorial part early on and the middle game is so hard starting with lana until mina. I almost use stalling technique most of them to be able to defeat the totems.

All in saying is, that Hau finally got the title he deserved. After being remembered only for being the malasada guy in SM, he got the title of a true champion in USUM

Xythiant in Pokémon Sun/Moon, Kukui was HARD to beat. It took me and my team quite a long time to beat him. My team consisted of Primarina, Mimikyu, Goodra, lunala, sableye, and Raichu. When i won, i was so happy, i didn’t notice my ds was at low battery XD

What I love about this theme is that the way I see it, this isn’t JUST Hau’s theme. In Sun and Moon when you fight Kukui it’s just that there wasn’t anyone to challenge us so Kukui does it himself. But he doesn’t see himself as the champion, so the theme that plays is actually OUR theme. The player character’s, it even plays when we had to defend OUR title. But in Ultra Sun Ultra Moon Hau actually makes his way to the top as well. Meaning Kukui had no reason to sub in, so instead it plays this theme. It is a combination of OUR champion theme and HAU’S battle theme. It isn’t just ours or Hau’s, It’s BOTH of the player character’s and Hau’s theme. It’s our music, the one that plays in the fated battle between rivals. I understand that people didn’t really like Hau, and thought he was too friendly. Despite that, I feel like the symbolism in the music should’ve touched a lot of people. I first started my Pokémon journey in Alola, and I just so happened to remember this theme and shared my thoughts. I don’t know if anyone will ever see this, but I hope this maybe changed your thoughts in this piece of music.

Both professor kukui and hau were call backs to red/blue, like the scrapped battle vs oak and your rival becoming champion first. Hau was easier than kukui though, and even if its the same formula I still wish he could at least have been champion before us cause he was ahead in Mina's trial too

2) Unless one counts N as a rival, he was the second to become a champ before you.
1) The battle against Hau is the "Champion battle". You must beat him in order to become champion, also Hau beat the Elite Four first so he is the champion.
2) No one considers N a champion and he wasn't the champion
Master Chief 1) Hau never become a champ. He just defeated the E4 slightly before you did. In fact, he's not referred to as "Champion Hau" but "Pokemon Trainer Hau" so no, he didn't become a champ.
2) That's subjective since N technically defeated Alder back in BW1. While he doesn't take over the role, he did manage to defeat the Champ and would've entered his next phase of his plan if not for the player.

Idk how everyone was so shocked. I was a little surprised based on the dialogue setup, but Hau said over and over again how we should have a “real” battle sometime soon. Then we didn’t see him for a long time. I was waiting for him to pop up right at the E4, and when he didn’t I was suspicious.
I have to admit that he caught my interest after Mina's trial when Hala says that Hau beat him in a no-holds-barred battle. That's a pretty big step forward for the rival and I was prepared for a tougher fight whenever Hau next showed up.
Then Kukui pulls up after the E4 and acts like he's that guy (the champion). And THEN Hau pulls up, OUT OF FUCKING NOWHERE, then you battle him, no holds barred, while this absolute BANGER plays in the background. Absolute. Fucking. Perfection.👌

Like, I just loved this plot twist so much because I was really rooting for Hau to succeed (or come close to it) the whole game. And, boi, he sure made me fight for that champion title. Hau was not seeing around!

Are you nuts? The ruined the Poni island parts of the story. Cut the entire scene with Lillie on Exeggutor Island. >_< And Lillie's parts when you catch Lunala/Solgaleo just lose so much of their impact the way they did them. I really just feel like they screwed up Lillie's and Lusamine's part in the story with this game.
There was no point in cutting out the exeggutor island cutscene, but I still liked Lillie just as much in this game mainly because of episode RR. I honestly did not like Lusamine nearly as much, but I still well kind of liked her to be completely honest. Lol.

Why is everyone disappointed with this? Literally NO ONE was expecting Hau to be the champion. And c'mon, this theme is so friggin' brilliant! I honestly love how Game Freak did this to him and i can't wait to find hau (see what i did there?) and why does this happy fella got the champion title.

I was literally healing my life away and preparing my team to fight hau where you normally fight him on mount lanakila. And then he wasn't there. After going through the elite four, I decided he must be a post-game fight. Kukui then does his normal spiel about how you have to fight one more person, and then he joked and said that he wasn't the one. Then HAU walks up out of thin air andI ended up fighting him. My blood has never raced so hard in my life. Everyone says that the new games and rivals are too easy and boring, but Blue was a straight jackass and had no appeal to me, and along with that those games were easy af for me. I got to usum and almost lost to totem mimikyu, totem togedemaru(I had no electric or steel type counters on my team besides my hawlucha, who only had flying press) and ultra necrozma. Hau also near sweeped me, which I wasn't expecting at all, and somehow even though ultra necrozma and every NPC I've EVER FACED FELL FOR MY ZOROARK"S ILLUSION, HAU READ ME LIKE A BOOK AND FOCUS BLASTED ME INTO ULTRA SPACE. It's crazy.
