I bought this kayak and the biggest problem for me was balance the kayak would flip over on me even in calm water after two or three times falling in the water with all my gear and cell phone I'm just letting the 12T sit in the yard maybe I should sell it on craigslist.
I said the exact same thing about the paddle mounts. I did a seat mod to raise the seat it worked pretty good I’m happy with it. And I installed a assist leash to help pull me up. All in all it’s a pretty nice entry-level boat I think. Good luck
As of 2/2023, the price is $870 and it regularly is on sale for $800. If you get a job at Bass Pro/Cabela's, you get half off. For $435, it's a great kayak.

Entry level budget fishing kayak for $779.95?
Yeah when I bought it I paid shy of 600. Kayak prices are through the roof now. And it’s a good kayak for beginners.
It’s up to $869 now… I’m guessing supply chain issues?
