You notice that the meat seems to have a lot of water and fat in it. That is why the patties shrink and why so much pressing is encouraged. This being a training film and not an advert, they had to be honest that the grill almost immediately pools with grease, and, that you have to let a bunch of grease drip off the patty so it doesn't disintegrate the bun. its probably 60/40 beef. Wendy's replaced the grills in a lot of their stores with a new double-sided grill that presses the meat for you, and cooks in less time. Only the old Wendy's, or what they call the "old image" stores still require manually pressing meat.

This uses the classic story-within-a-story technique, just like Shakespeare's 'The Taming of the Shrew' and '1,001 Arabian Nights'. It was also surely a valuable project for the actors who participated, as it prepared them for long careers in "one of the most important jobs at Wendy's". The only thing that confuses me is why Bill didn't see a video of himself coming to work at the beginning. He must have been watching a different version. RIP SuperBar :(

continued- last part: The metal buckets containing old frosty mix is called a "re-run" and what we do is pour the re run into the machine so we don't have to "waste good frosty mix" so what u are getting is a frosty that have been out all night. it gets so bad that a nasty film develops on top of the mix and we have to skim it off so it won't clog the machine. we are basically selling you Frosties that have been out literally for about 12-15 hours over night inside of the machine. they get cleaned rarely and so do most of the things except for the fryer filters which get changed every night and the burger presses that get cleaned once a day. think twice before you eat Wendy's food
