Thats going to be nice having that capability. Tire shops are always busy, and you almost never get the tires mounted and balanced in a timely fashion. Now you control the wait time! Excellent machine.
I have burned a lot of hours waiting on tires! I think it should pay for itself in time savings alone.
Well considering about every vehicle you've purchased had at least one flat tire I'd say that was a great investment. Good luck with it, and now all your friends know you have it. Lol
Fortunately I don't think many of my friends watch my videos lol!
Looks like something that will be put to good use with the cars that you have had lately. Don't blame you for waiting to you get used to it before you demonstrate using it. Hope it does the job that you bought it for. Nice seeing AJ out with you. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
AJ is my top shop hand lol
Kent, it seems everything we buy ends up being an expensive puzzle --- You're lucky to have AJ there to keep you focused ! ---- ( When AJ said "I wanna help my Daddy" really put a lump in my throat ! ) -- May The Lord Bless And Keep You All Safe In The Coming Year !
Thank You and thanks for watching
I’ve had mine for about 2 years and have changed around 50 tires with it and have had no issues whatsoever. I bought it straight from mayflower because it was cheaper than Amazon/eBay. I recommend for anyone with a home garage or small business.
Also, I get my tires from eBay sent to the house. Save so much $$$
That is great news Randy! I got mine from Mayflower also
Does buying it straight from mayflower include lifegate service or will they charge you an extra fee for that?
@@BerryMK7 I think it is extra
Mayflower link? I seen a company called Elevated Auto selling it really cheap
I found their website, it's the same price as ebay
Great machines to have ! They'll come in handy.
Best wishes for the New Year!🎉
Happy new year!
AJ is such a good helper. 💙
He is my top shop hand these days
I'm heading to the tire shop this morning for the Blazer... Seeing this vid makes me wish I'd taken this plunge years ago, as this tire shop visit will prolly take all morning! Cool machine! Excited to see it in action! Cool video, Kent!
Thanks Dr. Lee! I hope this means you are about to start on the Blazer!
Handy machine for ur shop. this will come in handy for ur projects
I think so too!
The disc wheel pushes the tire bead into the drop center of the rim. Very useful when mounting wide low profile tires. 40 series and below and 245 or wider.
Thanks for the info!
Something I know you will put to great use.
I hope so!
Great set up!😂😂
AJ, tell Daddy every true car guy needs a reliable tire machine combo and he did a great job researching his new equipment. 🤗🥰❤️👍
Thanks!
That's a nice tire changer and balancer
Thanks!
That's impressive .
Man you high tech , Im old school using a hand tire machine from Harbor Frieght and a used bubble balancer . Yes i have had some problem with air up on a few tires but a ratchet strap helped that
I have been right there with you for many years!
oooohh. new toys!
Big shop toys!
Very good machine
I really like mine
Good video
Single wheel weight is used when recalibrating the balancer. I would do this to mine every year.
This is the most silent I've ever heard with AJ..haha. Have fun with your new toy. Hope you all have a Happy New Year
Lol he being surprisingly quiet that day
Good looking machine
Thanks
Wanting to buy one in the next week or so. The tire shops locally where I live have gotten to expensive to change tires and don't stay open long enough for the farmer or the day shift working man!!! All of the shops near me close at 430. And are not open on Saturday and if they are they close at noon.!! I'm done with them!!
That is exactly why I bought one! good luck
Very very nice guy's!
Thank you very much!
Hey Kent I bought the same outfit you have could you show with a light on how and where you Tee the assist arm into the system for it to work. I got a Tee with mine but can’t figure where it goes so it will work
Could you please tell me what air compressor you're using with the tire changer?
Hey i got two tires needing broke down as we speak wish i had one.but no shop to put in danget!!!snooky pa.guees i do it old school🖐
Lol Allen I have been breaking them down with my skid steer for years but I never got any good at putting them back on.
Extra weight is for calibration
I figured that out after!
I love your videos i just discovered you had a youtube i watched you on facebook love the vids
I'm pathological about my tire balance. People don't realize the valve stem isn't always the heavy spot on a wheel.
I always balance my wheels first to find the heavy spot, mount the tire with the yellow dot opposite the heavy spot and end up with less weight.
Thanks for the info! I am going to try that
How has this 980 gone for you so far? Any chance you'll make the "how to"? Thank you for this video.
Guess I'm out dated. I use a Studebaker plus4 changer and an old bubble balancer. Still newer than most of what I work on. Yours will pay for itself many times over
Lol I just upgraded from a front end loader and pry bars!
What's your thoughts after using these over time ?
Can it do 35 inch tires ??
I really like the tire setup I don't think I need the balancer, I have quite A few vintage dirt bikes and very seldom and A vehicle tire but I'm in my 60s
I wish you would have made a installation video on the assist arm.
It was really straight forward. I think you should be able to figure it out by what I show in the video
How has this combo been for you? Have you balanced any 35" or 37" truck tires on it?
Those look like good units. Just curious how the evapo rust worked?
Still to be determined. I'm going to wash it out next weekend and put the scope back in it.
Whats your 1 year review
All these machine not available or maybe not sold by Amazon
Im looking to purchase this, will I be able to, in any way, move this with just a hand-utility dolly? From what I'm told, the 580 wheel changing machine weights 444 pounds and the wheel balancer weighs 275 pounds.
We moved mine with 2 guys and a dolly before I added the assist arm.
So are you going to fix flats for your followers? Lol kidding! I’ve got the old balancer type with the air bubble that you center it up in the little circle! It would be cool looking sitting in someone’s shop! I’ll have to see if I can find it!
Lol I better learn how to fix my own flats first
Keep oil in the oiler at all times.
Thanks!
Have you had a chance to use the Mayflower equipment? I'm considering them myself.
So far so good
My boss bought a brand new one. And it got damaged for 4 months later😮 because of the workers rushing to do the job
Hello how did you take off the machines from the wood pallets
We just slid it off
@@SpeedBumpGarage thanks
What size is the air connection to the machine
1/4” pipe I think
Hello guys
Hey Greg!
Im having trouble with this machine i just assembled everything but once i plugg it in, the compressor wont turn on. Everything on the inside came plugged in.
Would happen to know any solutions?
The machine does not have a built in compressor. You have to supply the unit with air
