Happy birthday mate, have a great day with the family. Just one thing, be mindful when your welding that plate back in the pass rear, underseal loves to catch alight when welding. Keep a watch out for it and have some water to quench things if it does. Your doing a great job 10 out of 10 for persevering with Courtney. 👍
Thanks for the tip and thank you :)
Your flying well mate with progress 👍
thank you :)
Great work mate happy birthday for tomorrow
thank you :)
Amazing work!
Happy Birthday fella & keep up the good work. looking more and more like a car with each video .
Thank you mate
Alvast gefeliciteerd met je verjaardag ( translation: happy birthday in advance). You are doing a heroic job, restoring a car in such a state. I still have an Opel Kadett from 1940 to do in a bit better state. Also 1/4 floor is gone, middle sills are vanished and some rear wheel arch issues....
Have fun tomorrow 🎉🎈🎂
thank you :) and oh nice yeah i have some metal that as vanished to lol on rear wheel artches all good fun 1940 i bet thats well nice got any pics you can send me to have a look at :)
Happy birthday mate. It would be nice to see you actually working on it. Rather than saying what you've done and showing the finish product
I know a lot of people say that but it would take a lot to keep setting up the camera worried it would slow me down might try a few diffrent things to try and get alot more in the video will do my best and thank you for the birthday wish
Happy Birthday Adam, Them chassis inards look really good. I should cut mine open really.
thank you simone yes you should it will give you a good idear on the condtion as long as your forks are ok you could go from there it may not be as bad as u think further along
@@AdamSNook. I think the forks need replacing. Would you know where I could find some?
@@CortinasAndClassics i would have no idear cortina club might have cars that are getting cut up soon best bet really have you checked the forks then
@@AdamSNook. I tried to jack from there at one point and they were soft.
Oh right OK
Happy birthday from Denmark :)

Good Job mate. Happy Birthday 🎂.

getting there buddy, i wouldnt worry too much about dents in the floor, not something you will see, due to carpet and sound deadener. Have you bought any more car parts? Also Happy Birthday,
yeah i know i shouldent worrie to much and thank you
no more parts as of yet no still just want to focus on getting the metal work done first then will go on a parts hunt :)
i will try to start her up again at some point i have not given up on that yet lol that will be done soon with better set up this time
what did they dip them in? water? it wasnt anti corrosian
lol well defo not lol they rusted like hell im not sure i know its there for the factory use
i could be wrong it may be for rain to be drained if it get wet inside lol
i remember my mum mk4 cortina it was a mint car when she had it not a spec of rust anywhere hate to think what it would look like now some 40 years later if it is even still around .. someone stole it and we never got it back.
@@blastingweevil2968 yeah car thefts was really high back then
Happy birthday 🥳💃🕺🍰🍭
