True.. Even though I liked the Salem Slasher in 83-84 a bit more coz it involved more characters and had Tony/Andre. Thaao is a Legend! And the return of Stefano❤️ And Misses H helped a Roman and Bo made my heart felt warm

Always wondered if all three shared in the breakdown and script writing on Days and GH or were other dialogue writers involved just not listed in the credits back then? Many soaps had a much shorter list of writers credited during 70's -early 80's period of time than they do today.
I do recall the Salem Strangler, and the thought Marlena was the intended victim. There was a uproar by fans andalot of protests too. How dare Days kill Marlena off. So the writers came up with a plan and make it sound that it was Marlena's twin sister Sam. Diedra Hall does indeed have a twin sister, and she was indeed on the show.
Do you have Brenda Benet's first and last appearance ? Lee Dumonde - I forget all the other last names . She was a great actress and an iconic character . 👏 Only Vivian Alamain comes in a close second . Do you have Renee's first appearance ? Do you know why Jane Windsor as Emma Donovan left DOOL ? She was a great actress and so good at being evil .

Days was must see TV during the Strangler storyline. The show was brilliantly written under headwriter Pat Falken Smith.
