  • New video, new puzzle. Ready for it? It’s white to move and win the game, even if he is down one rook for the knight, white has this powerful pawn on F7 just two squares away from promotion. But can you really win here as white? Because TRUST ME, you would really be amazes on how the puzzle would end!!!
Wow, what a move, what a puzzle, what incredible play from both sides, ending with one of the most satisfying checkmate I ever saw. Let me know your opinion about his puzzle and if you manage to find all the winning move. I would be really surprised if you managed to find all of them on your own. This puzzle shows us once again how complex chess endgames could be and why it’s important to have a strong knowledge and easily face every scenario that could possible arrive.
Thank you again for watching! And as usual if you want me to cover any specific topic, just let know in the comments. Have a great day guys.

Piece of cake. Sometimes I'm glad that I am just an average player. No ambitions at all.

    My thinking process!
Kb1 is absolutely not ok, because then Bxf5 check will punish ok.
Kb2 looked fine but it blocks my own bishop from delivering a check through Bb2, and black could keep going on for checks
So the last option is Ba3. Even if it seems odd, if ...Rxa3 then I can do Kb2 which doesn't let them check my king again

Excellent puzzle. Much harder than it looks. I went with Kc3 instead of Kc1 on the first rook sacrifice bait. Otherwise I got it all as it went along. We 99% enjoyed the puzzle anyway.

Nice puzzle with many tricks from black and beautiful end.
But I think, the reason, why not only top players can solve it, because you don't have to see up to the end from the beginning position, but in the all key positions it is enough to see 3-4 moves ahead, and still you will be able to win it, because the drawing or losing sidelines, though they are many, but they are not so long variations.

@@ChessCrafters-lk4dv Amazing puzzle. I’m guessing it was crafted by starting with the final position and working backwards wrapping each intermediate stage in another puzzle.

@@johnkesich8696 guess so, I just saw the position online and after analyzing I was amazed by the end result

should not it be a draw due to insufficient materials since, 1 bishop and 1 knight can't checkmate though the position was winning for white but both had INSUFFICIENT MATERIALS.

When there is a possible checkmate on the board, no matter how crazy low the odds are, even 0.00001% chances of happening, the game would still play
