On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

Please create a scenario with The F-15E & A-10C competing in the sense that they're not really looking out for one another while on the same team, trying to get the most kills (+ Important kills), provide ground support, and of course surviving! VS Couple Mi-24's, few Iglas, Tunguska, SA-11, and couple SU-25's! Plus provide ground support VS .50 Technical Trucks, BTR's, BMP's, T-72's, and couple T-90's!🙏👍

When a naval aircraft is modified for land use, the heavier landing gear can be replaced, the tail hook assembly is removed, and the folding wings are replaced with fixed wings. Saves a LOT of weight.
F18L would have been a classic example.

Depends on the aircraft. The Tomcat only needed the replacement of the landing gear mechanism for it to be fit for Iranian use.

J-31 or FC-31 is just a tech demonstrator, the "J-35" is derived from that program so it's not a variant of the FC-31, you can tell the difference between them by looking at images of the FC-31 then looking at the latest images of the J-35, they have distinct differences
The BVR with the Super Hornet is a logical additional video. A gunfight with the F-35A and F-35C would also be interesting.

My Chinese-made USB charger worked 8 times. Then it melted in the AC receptacle and dripped molten plastic on the rug. I have a feeling that their ejection seats work a few times then the pull handle of the ejection seat breaks off in your hand or the rocket motor doesn't fire. After all, the manufacturer tag reads "Made In China"

FA/18 and Super Hornet - great multi-role aircraft. CF-18 served Canada well for a lot of years. A great McDonnell Douglas design.

Definitely try this in BVR.
Yeah, I think an over-the-water BVR fight might be more interesting. Just like the F-35 isn't going to be most fighters in a dogfight, The Gyrfalcon's strength may be in longer range engagements where it can utilize its stealth.
*What* stealth? It's just as "sTeAlThY" as the Felon. Which is to say, meets the bare absolute minimum to be considered *semi-stealth.*

The J-35 seems like what the F-35C should've been. It would be very interesting to see a bvr fight against the Super Hornet. Is the J-35's stealth any good? Is the Super Hornet's lowered rcs enough against it? I'd love to see.
5th gen fighters in BVR always trounce 4th gens unless they're being flown by complete novices or they get caught out strategically.
BVR fighting is really interesting for sure as its focus is strategy and tactics first and then perhaps getting closer for an IR missile fight! These dogfights are really interesting as you explain what you are doing and really teaching the viewer how to dogfight! You make an excellent instructor as long as it is in DCS of course, but the principles you demonstrate are sound for real world dogfights as well I imagine. It would be really interesting for some real world fighter pilots to share their comments as well!

It’s an interesting feel seeing this fight take place over Tinian’s North Field. Some of the place names in the headlines (China wanting to build a base in Tulagi, etc) jingle the history nerd memberberries.

That first fight was sweet - It also was COL seeing you identify then fight a offset two circle- your foes are getting very crafty!
What's cool here also is your high energy fighting- and how the fight stayed high altitude and high energy in some rounds! We're seeing some different stuff !(as opposed to everything becoming a deck fight)

Eddie is the equivalent of putting the engineer in the cockpit. Likely that China can't afford to lose these brains.

one thing i found interesting with this fight is that every time you landed shots on the spine of the aircraft it always seemed to lose control. i dont know if the FLCS unit is located there or if its just a design flaw on the modder's side

I know what you mean, its almost like they are sharing aeronautics tech because all the planes seem to share qualities with their western counterparts. Take the j-20 for example, it seems like a cross between an f-35 and a Rafale.

I'd love to see BVR with it. Since the latest reports are saying the SU57 has the same RCS as the F18, I'm curious how they model the J31's stealth.

Well you would have to change camera position in DCS but since you can do it, you can use the iron sight.

The J20 is an interceptor. Made to challenge the F35C off of carriers before they can get into special missile range, but the SiWA will change all that.

Can you try a Dogfight between the SU-30SM and the NGAD? It would be a very Interesting fight since You've done this using the F-22.
The NGAD supposedly maneuvers like a bus because it was designed for long range and stealth.
F-14 with Phoenix's and AMRAAM Deltas. The Tomcat was technically cleared to use AMRAAM'S but we had the Phoenix so it was unnecessary.
All three of those, that was a lot of 20mm hits, ouch.

I have seen a few stories claiming the British are thinking about putting the meteor on the f-35. It would be interesting to see what that would be like.

Some excellent ACM there, man. For its few shortcomings, the F/A-18 is still an excellent multi-role fighter. Yeah, do the BVR fight. Might prove interesting.
The J35 looks like a cross between the Mig29, F35 and F22, also the J20 isn’t meant for dog fighting which is why it hasn’t got a gun.

They took a lot of design elements from the f35. One of them is the front hinged cockpit. The f35 did that to allow for the v-lift fan of the B variant and it carried through to the A and C to save on cost. The Chinese did it because... "Welp, the Americans did it soooo..."
Looking like it, and being it. Two very different things.
More interesting to test these "missile trucks" in BVR vs. stealth and non stealth fighters (F22 and F15?). Very obviously they're not suited for BFM.
Can you explain in a future video if the empty weapon mounts or the rockets you carry have any effect on performance during a dogfight? I mean why you carry them if you wont use them?
I've become addicted to the sneaky BVR F22 missions as of late. How about 1 f35 v 2 of these Chinese knock-offs in BVR, GS. Water with mountainous islands sprinkled in. Equal missile tech.
the problem is, assuming both sides stealth fighters are able to avoid long range weapons locks, things will come down to short range and potentially dogfights.
We might not see this in practice with current adversary stealth plans that might fly against F-22/35, but basically, if 2 F-22s were to compete, I expect dogfighting would be the expected result if both pilots don't make mistakes
modern dogfighting missiles like the R73m, PL10 and Aim9X are pretty much impossible to dodge and have 180 degree engagement cones, its basically down to luck. And odds are both planes shoot each other down.
BVR vs the hornet might be a bit tricky, perhaps BVR vs the Eagle or Eurofighter
