My hubby is remote and I can confidently say that there is a huge difference having him work from home and when he went into work! We like seeing the humanity because it has come with so much growth and self awareness and getting herself out of this really awful situation. When other characters have flaws we don’t feel the same endearment because they don’t have the same loveable growth arc. Meri is getting there though. I am starting to cheer for her and want to see her evolve too.

Meri went over to Robyn’s on Christmas Eve & Day, and somehow they forgot to mention that Myketi, Ysabel and Truley were coming to celebrate another day. For a brief moment- it looked like Meri could see, they purposefully excluded her. You could see the recognition on her face, then she fell back into Robyn’s buddy mode. That was sad. She really has no one there in flagstaff.

First season Kody was bouncy and happy but just as cruel. You could see flashes of his temper with his children and OG3 as well. Also, Robyn’s throat problems are probably energetically linked to her suppressing her voice with Kody. Keeping Sweet comes with a cost.
I think that it is important to clarify that just because a person is physically in your homes, doesn’t mean that person is actually engaging with the family. I know Christine had expressed in the past that she and her kids like to do outdoor activities like kayaking and Kody doesn’t seem to enjoy this type of thing. Here’s the deal, if you want private time, maybe having 4 wives and over 20 kids isn’t the life for you.
The older the kids get the darker Kody gets. You can see it over the seasons. I think the kids were Kody’s supply and now he’s basically done to only two little kids who don’t feed his ego. He cannot handle not having a large supply.
Robyn will never understand how a marriage to Kody could fall apart because Kody is her knight in shining armor. She will never see him as anything but a hero.

When Christine talked about the number of times Kody showed up to go hiking or rafting with her and the kids, out of 800 days living in Flagstaff, it was 2 or 3 times that he showed up. One of those times she said he didn't even get in the water, so that must have been a rafting trip. He showed up but didn't go with them. Oh, and he brought Robyn's kids with him, the couple of times he did go. And before he was kicked out of the house (which was at the very end) Kody did what he did in Vegas. When he visited Christine's house, it was at dinner time & he'd be gone before the kids woke up in the morning.

Janelle lives with Savanna in a 2BR 2Bath luxury Apartment in downtown Flagstaff. Very fancy and beautiful too. It really looks like a resort with a beautiful swimming pool, coffee shops, gourmet markets and specialty stores within walking distance. There’s even a dog park and a pet spa on-site.
I hope this show does end soon. It's called Sister Wives and there are no more Sister Wives. Just Kody and Robyn. Robyn masterminded the Brown family to shreds. She has an expensive home. She has expensive pieces of art on her walls costing tens of thousands of dollars. All five of her children are legitimized and not legally bastardized like Janelle's and Christine's children. She is legally married to Kody while Meri is a divorcee. Many of the children are not communicating with Kody and Kody has his ass on his shoulders and turned the lack of communication into a game of "chicken" to see who breaks first. In episode 5, while Robyn was saying the family breakup hurt her, I discerned that she was actually happily triumphant about it. Meri confirmed my assumption, because she looked a bit irritated at Robyn's claims to yearn for the family to be repaired. Meri looks at Robyn as if she knows she is full of 'ish, but Meri is too much of a peacekeeper to admit it.
I’m disappointed in Meri throwing Christine under the bus with Robyn talking about that Christmas early in their marriage where Meri received no presents from Kody. How is that Christine’s fault? According to Christine, she confronted him about it and let him that wasn’t right. I think Kody knew it wasn’t right but he was trying to hurt Meri for whatever reason. Just like he didn’t buy Savannah any Christmas gifts or communicate with her AT ALL for over a month since her birthday in early December. The fact that Robyn was pontificating about why Christine and Kody won’t put the effort forward to fix their relationship and reconcile, while speaking to Meri who has been trying for over 6 years for Kody to string her along and say horrible things in her presence and behind her back! WTH! I too thought she was becoming a bit unstable. The entire rant was surreal. You have adult kids and the dynamics are going to change. Folks are not always coming to AZ for Thanksgiving & Christmas. She really did not think that folks were going to assist her in raising two kids that she was helicopter parenting. Robyn and Cody thought everyone would come to their house and leave Christine alone, but the opposite happened. Also, Robyn and Cody came up with the plan for him to spend the majority of the month with Christine so they could try to use it against her later.
He’s so used to everyone covering up for him and robyns sickening behaviour! There would be consequences if anything was disclosed ! It’s refreshing Christine is confirming everything we knew !!! Robyn was a liar from day 1 !!!
I think Christine may have tried with Robyn, but probably had her guard up because of they way she was introduced to the family, a secret between Kody, Robyn, and Meri. The obvious favoritism of Robyn from the beginning, the kissing while she was delivering Truely, I mean the list goes on and on. Christine saw the writing on the wall from the beginning!!

Meri went over to Robyn’s on Christmas Eve & Day, and somehow they forgot to mention that Myketi, Ysabel and Truley were coming to celebrate another day. For a brief moment- it looked like Meri could see, they purposefully excluded her. You could see the recognition on her face, then she fell back into Robyn’s buddy mode. That was sad. She really has no one there in flagstaff.

Maybe Meri would argue that she figured that Ysabel would stay in NC where she’s living with Maddie and going to school. But it’s her first Christmas while living far from home - of course she would come home!
At least Savanah got a birthday call, Gabe didn't even get that (although Gabe was "disrespectful", so that was his excuse, sigh)
First season Kody was bouncy and happy but just as cruel. You could see flashes of his temper with his children and OG3 as well.
Also, Robyn’s throat problems are probably energetically linked to her suppressing her voice with Kody. Keeping Sweet comes with a cost.
I think that it is important to clarify that just because a person is physically in your homes, doesn’t mean that person is actually engaging with the family. I know Christine had expressed in the past that she and her kids like to do outdoor activities like kayaking and Kody doesn’t seem to enjoy this type of thing. Here’s the deal, if you want private time, maybe having 4 wives and over 20 kids isn’t the life for you.

The older the kids get the darker Kody gets. You can see it over the seasons. I think the kids were Kody’s supply and now he’s basically done to only two little kids who don’t feed his ego. He cannot handle not having a large supply.
Robyn will never understand how a marriage to Kody could fall apart because Kody is her knight in shining armor. She will never see him as anything but a hero.
Kody also said that because Christine and Janelle kicked him out of their homes he “no longer has the space he had to be with his kids.” Excuse me? There’s NO WHERE else he can hand out with them???
I always wonder why he can’t invite them over to his house!
When Christine talked about the number of times Kody showed up to go hiking or rafting with her and the kids, out of 800 days living in Flagstaff, it was 2 or 3 times that he showed up. One of those times she said he didn't even get in the water, so that must have been a rafting trip. He showed up but didn't go with them. Oh, and he brought Robyn's kids with him, the couple of times he did go. And before he was kicked out of the house (which was at the very end) Kody did what he did in Vegas. When he visited Christine's house, it was at dinner time & he'd be gone before the kids woke up in the morning.

Janelle lives with Savanna in a 2BR 2Bath luxury Apartment in downtown Flagstaff. Very fancy and beautiful too.
It really looks like a resort with a beautiful swimming pool, coffee shops, gourmet markets and specialty stores within walking distance.
There’s even a dog park and a pet spa on-site.
I'm glad she has a nice place after Kody wouldn't let her build her own house on Coyote Pass.
Did she move out of the tiny apartment we see on the show? I hope so.

It was really weird how they didn’t talk about tracking where he was at other houses, just their own. It was like a fear to track it or taboo? The kids saying he was at Robyns is the most sincere. Paedyn saying he couldn’t say his dads wasn’t there, dad was ‘there’ for him, but he did have to go find him.. probably most accurate.

So, Robyn admitted she didn’t want the older kids at her house but then was saying she would have given her blessing to have them get together if they wanted to. She totally contradicted herself and kody backs whatever she wants. Robyn in calling the shots in this whole family but acts confused about what’s happening.
Yes didn’t we hear her say no to Meri about inviting everyone over for Christmas? Ooo that would be scary she said. And K doesn’t want to be around anyone who doesn’t care about him. So Meri technically offered to host and was shot down.

Seems Robyn gets together with Meri just to lie in front of the camera, smearing Christine & playing dumb about her own significant role in the demise of the family. She always has an agenda for something she wants to "spin" for the audience. I think Meri can't possibly be as unaware as she seems, that she's being manipulated by Robyn. I just think she knows you have to kiss Robyn's ass or she will go straight back to Kody and spin negatively whatever is said that counters Robyn's narratives.
I think the time they were referring to with Christine was 25 days was probably while Truly had been in the hospital. I'm sure he only did it because production said it would look good for him to actually pay attention to the child he nearly ked.

Why are we still outside at Meris? They are hugging so is not covid. This is getting dumb.
Robyn masterminded the Brown family to shreds. She has an expensive home. She has expensive pieces of art on her walls costing tens of thousands of dollars. All five of her children are legitimized and not legally bastardized like Janelle's and Christine's children. She is legally married to Kody while Meri is a divorcee. Many of the children are not communicating with Kody and Kody has his ass on his shoulders and turned the lack of communication into a game of "chicken" to see who breaks first.
In episode 5, while Robyn was saying the family breakup hurt her, I discerned that she was actually happily triumphant about it. Meri confirmed my assumption, because she looked a bit irritated at Robyn's claims to yearn for the family to be repaired. Meri looks at Robyn as if she knows she is full of 'ish, but Meri is too much of a peacekeeper to admit it.

I’m disappointed in Meri throwing Christine under the bus with Robyn talking about that Christmas early in their marriage where Meri received no presents from Kody. How is that Christine’s fault? According to Christine, she confronted him about it and let him that wasn’t right. I think Kody knew it wasn’t right but he was trying to hurt Meri for whatever reason. Just like he didn’t buy Savannah any Christmas gifts or communicate with her AT ALL for over a month since her birthday in early December.
The fact that Robyn was pontificating about why Christine and Kody won’t put the effort forward to fix their relationship and reconcile, while speaking to Meri who has been trying for over 6 years for Kody to string her along and say horrible things in her presence and behind her back! This is so disingenuous!
Meri never blamed Christine for that. She blamed Kody.
How can a man of faith be so angry and not see his own "mis steps"
I loved when Christine said that Kody strung Meri along for years and that it was cruel and mean.
As for Robyn, I don't take her seriously at all. I used to get disgusted and a bit angry when she cried on screen, but in episode 5, i laughed. I didn't expect that, but the absurdity of her pretense is hilarious.
