When my uncle was 19 years old in 1996 he saw this THX logo before the movie Daylight (1996).
Daylight actually used Tex 1 in theaters

@@Spacerangershack You know during the eighties and nineties when kids are seeing their favorite movies let's say Disney and pixar they don't want to see the movie because of the THX logo because they're scared of it and it might hurt their ears So their parents have to force them to see the movie with the THX logo and the kids got scared and the parents have to leave the theater but thank God those days are over though Probably Cinemark managed to save THX by putting THX in their own sound system cinemark XD so watch out For THX

I don’t think it used a THX trailer in theaters. Tell you what, Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets used the THX Cavalcade logo in theaters

THX is not used on that film at all. But however, the THX Amazing Life logo was used on Disney’s Enchanted when it was first released in theaters
