Man there are a ton of nice ease-of-life changes here that make this a wonder. I hope the other MFG's start to pick up on some of these. I would buy this for the lens detection and air detection alone!

I have been searching for a laser. And had decided on the Creality Falcon 2. And then I found the Algolaser Delta. They only have a 20 watt laser right now, 40 is due out in October. The laser is built where it operates as well as a 30 watt laser. The beam is so tight, that the cut line is thinner and more concentrator so it can cut thicker materials

Hi Sam, absolutely love your videos. Just a quick question. I have this Creality Falcon 2 40W unit on the way and looking at magnet thicknesses to hold down warped wood. What is the minimum focus height from the laser body to workpiece? I want to buy magnets thin enough that the laser head wont hit whilst traversing. Cheers

Just a FYI, Ortur wasn't the only company with a metal enclosure, Atomstack made one as well. I'd planned on getting one when I first got my old A5 Pro, but ended up getting a big Co2 and pretty much retired the Atomstack (just recently sold it). Creality can make some really nice stuff, but you can also run into quality control issues with them (like anybody else I assume), so there's always that 'your mileage may vary' aspect in the back of my mind with their stuff (this comes from having about a dozen of their 3d printers over the years). Still, that's a very nice looking machine, just wondering how it compares to the simiarly priced xtools?

Hi Sam. Is it possible to cut Biothane in one cutwith the creality 22 watt or 40 watt. In all videos theo show cutting if wood. What is your expierence with plastics?

Hello, I have a question. I'm kind of straggling here. for some reason I don't have a light that shows me where the cut is going to be exactly.I dont' know the name of that thing, but I saw it in other lasers and here It does frame, but there is no light that would show exactly the place of engraving and if i need to do it on a very small item I really need that light.Please, help🙏🙏🙏

I am still learning about laser machines before I purchase one, so please excuse the question if this is obvious, but can you control the 20w or 40w laser toggle in the software, or is it only physically on the machine?
I only found the physical button to control it.

What lightburn software are you using? have one on order and wanted to start using the program and saving a project/fiddle around with it.
There is only one version of Lightburn. Your license depends on your machine type.
@@Samcraftcom I wish this was the case downloaded it and it gave me a few options then it asked for the machine and I tried typing it in... IDK when I get the machine it will specify or discover what I'm using and set me on the right track. thanks for the timely reply. I'll let you know when it happens though.

I want to re-create the plastic logo on my Boler camper out of Al. That would entail removing depth as well as cutting the outline.

The upcoming version with a phaser module should handle metal.

I have a question. For some reason, my D1 pro 10w is not measuring correctly. For example, a 5x5mm square will be 6x7 or 7x7. Do you know why it is doing that or how to fix it?
