It is impressive but keep in mind that a ton of the movement by characters is motion captured directly off the actors, so I'm sure the real voice actor checked his step while going up the stairs and it get picked up by the motion tracker.

It seems like they added a hit box to add sound to the bodies hitting/scraping surfaces. Like that grate sfx sounded like each quarter second or whatever the body was moving across the surface it queued another flap sound. Like when boots sound different on carpet vs concrete. This game is nothing special on a technical level. They added water, wow so amazing! Other game engines have done this for decades and IW is just now catching up. Keep in mind this game is designed for ps4 gen so it will be severely limited, especially with physics calculations since ps4 cpu is complete trash in modern times. Activisions greed once again held back proper progress.
It’s a shame that the COD series doesn’t do more with single player campaign. Yes, I know multiplayer is the only reason people get COD, but we all agree this looks amazing! I would love it if IW would update the campaign regularly and add new missions like this throughout the game’s lifespan

Slow paced, tactical, environmental, seemingly a classic and compelling COD campaign. Plays off the strengths of the best MW2019 levels but on a bigger scale. Absolutely can’t wait!
It’s not really that slow paced, that’s just the way every person who’s demonstrating a pre-game (not released) plays. If you ever notice they walk around extra slow and play kinda like a 13 year old enjoying the story. 😂
Some people are criticizing the mission precisely for being slow, and in MW2019 Clean house, it was one of the best missions in the game, and the original MW2 also had slow missions but with a lot of action
I would like to hear about Lobby's staying together after matches in MP and I hope other players do too. The game loses its sense of community when you are with different people, you don't have time to develop rivalries that last multiple matches, play enough games with the same people to make mates to play with, when the lobbies disband straight after a game. Any game developer will tell you the social aspect is really important for game, I hope they do this, it would be much better for longevity and community of the game. Thats the sort of thing I enjoyed playing on MW2 back in the day. Multiple games with the same people, learning their playstyle and trying to counter them, adds much more depth, replayability and community to the game, that I feel is lacking, which turns it into a toxic fest where you have 10 seconds to do some banter and thats it at the end of the match, hardly enough time to actually interact in any meaningful way, hope you all want this too.
I agree that disbanding a lobby and starting new again has its perks, but I think you make a great point James. Getting to chat with the same folks and play against/alongside them (I think the score balancing feature is dope and has been around since COD 4 but that’s also when I started the COD series) is one the critical keys to a multiplayer game’s success, especially in COD. Thanks for sharing :)!
Also, I like the multiple different angles they are taking with missions in this game. This missions tried to capture the magic of an OG mw2 mission, a cod 4 and new mw. The only easy day was yesterday, the first mission on cod 4 and the new stealth one in the terrorist house. Great elements they tried to incorporate. Doing things right so far.
Wow. Im stunned. The visuals, gunplay, mechanics, audio, animations, all look so phenomenal. Im really glad they also included that corner peeking mechanic. Im so hyped to get it!
The fact IW is listening to the community is amazing. They released MW2019 and knew it was a hit, they didn’t try and go crazy and change a lot of things. They kept the same style of gameplay and it looks very similar to MW2019 but just better in almost every way. It’s perfect.
I like how it transferred from them blowing in the door to the truck exploding and the rest of the trailer. That was dope. Already preordered just awaiting access
I swear I’ve watched this at least 50 times! I can’t wait for this game to come out! I just wish we had midnight releases in store like back in the day.. now that would be nostalgic
The gameplay is as I figured. A more polished version of MW (2019). To say I love that, is an understatement. The graphics, animations and sounds. This mission seemed, like a twist between “Crew Expendable” and “Only Easy Day Was Yesterday.” Got plenty of time to pre-order. I think I will, once the beta is near.
@Camping Comrade it's infinity ward They got many people's trust with their hard work If you said this about Treyarch and Sledgehammer then people would listen more
The first part was extremely similar to "Only easy day" mission, while the second part is quite literally what "crew expandable" would look if it was remade, with cargos moving around and having to avoid getting crushed, better water simulations and alot more intense. Just *chef kiss*
I can honestly say the hype for this game is real! MW 2019 took me back to the days when I first played the OG MW and I’m ready for this to do the same!
Cool to see the inspiration taken from old school modern warfare missions like “The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday” and “Crew Expendable” but at the same time the mission still stands on its own. As someone who grew up with the OG modern warfare games have to say I’m pretty hyped!
Calling it right now, 00:26 is actually an interchangeable part of the cutscene that's different depending on what choices were made leading up to this moment in the campaign. Notice the style of editing cut used and how for a brief moment the camera removes much of its cinematic motion to focus the player on this specific character and line of dialogue.
idk man if therr were actual choices that you can pick that can somewhat change some parts of the story, obviously they would've shown it here or something.
@@Jita_Neko way before IW reveal MW II was the next cod there were leaks of campaign characters that can live or die depending on your choices and it impacts the story. Similar to Black Ops 2
I love how this mission almost looks like a combination of “Crew Expendable” and “The Only Easy Day…Was Yesterday.” Which were missions from the previous Modern Warfare games.
This actually looks like a genuine quality improvement over MW2019, which is probably the best looking and feeling cod game. Really impressed, I can’t wait to see multiplayer!
I hate to admit that I no longer am a Battlefield fanboy... And Call of Duty have always had the best campaign missions anyway. Looking forward to October!
Love to see its got the same style as some of the better MW 2019 campaign missions. Always loved the boat missions and if the rest of the campaign is like this one I think I'll love the rest as well.
And for me it also looks like a nostalgic nod to the original MW series, with missions like Wetwork in COD4 MW and clearing the Oil Rig in MW2. Love the memories it brings back :)
I wish COD games started hiring better writers who don't create propaganda filled shooting galleries every year instead of using these aesthetically pleasing well crafted action games to tell an empathetic story.
Wow I'm actually super impressed with how this game looks this might just be another golden age for CoD again if the multiplayer is done as well as the first modern warfare reboot
It will never be the same as older CODs. Lobbies breaking up and SBMM will still be there. Well also have esports players and CZcamsrs that will cry about every gun being OP so their will never be a learning process to the game. The campaign looks nice though.
@@SolidZone26 they’re all trash. Don’t be such a fanboy. MW 2019’s multiplayer was terrible. It’s fine if that was your first cod but the multiplayer was just so boring
I love the way they reimagined these old levels from the OG MW games and mushed them together in a completely new context. This is absolutely brilliant!
As much as I'd prefer to see another mission showcase like clean house, this is indeed a very call of duty style mission. The transition from a cutscene to gameplay is flawless. MW2019 campaign was definitely one of the most well done campaign and I sure hope this one will top that
Man i love this style of campaign preview. They chose the perfect mission for this preview, it gives back nostalgia from that same mission in that og mw2. This is a top tier graphic and sound design. The only complaini have was the fact that they kinda reused the same gun and attachment model
Yes, there was a boat mission in MW and an oil rig mission in MW2, but these are not the same boat and oil rig from back in the day. It was the rangers that raided the oil rig in MW2 and it was the SAS, not Task 141, that went on that ship.
Hey COD devs, it was the DETAILS in 2019 that a lot of people fell in love with. It's what made mw19 feel new and cared for. Lets hope you've done the same for mw22
They using the same VLK 3.0 scope from MW1. Lower your expectations. Dont expect new attachments, mechanics, guns, etc. Its MW1 with different missions and a whole reboot of Warzone primarily. That being said, I just pre-ordered and will play for eternity.
It looks decent, but I will not pre-order any cod ever. There’s no telling what can go wrong. Though this will probably be a smash hit just like mw2019.
@@IScreenshotNFTs Better graphics, some weapon adjusting, and gunplay adjusting, and just more fine tuning. Unfortunately they’ll probably not innovate the whole game. But then again activision copy pasted mw2019 2 times already sooo
Seeing the containers move around during the storm makes me want to see a similar concept applied to multiplayer; the longer the match goes on the more unstable the environment becomes. It could affect sight lines and layout.
Small detail but did you notice how Vargas bumps into the door and theres an impact sound? 2:37. Most people might not care but little things like that contribute to immersion. Pretty cool lol
Thanks everyone for their hard work. The game looks great like every other MW game. We hope the whole story leaves a deep feeling in our hearts like the first MW2. By the way, I'm so glad to see the edge mount feature that isn't gone. Despite being stable, some recoil gain was a well-balanced and beautiful event. We hope that you can earn as much as possible from this project and offer us more beautiful games.
The sounds are amazing. They should put in the sound of a bullet wizzing by your head. There is no other sound in the world that sounds like that. The kriss vector sounds a lot like the real weapon firing. The sound and aesthetics of the gun is what makes it realish to me. If they can get that right it should and look sound amazing. Even the small parts of the gun like changing triggers or putting in the bottom half of a receiver or putting a different barrel on the same gun for a different type of caliber gun you’re using would be a big plus for me. Example: Barett MRAD can shoot up to four or five different calibers on the same gun, just uses different barrels and bolts to switch calibers
I was skeptical of how MW II would be able to make the game feel fresh at release like how MW 2019 felt. The gameplay looks like a pre rendered cutscene… absolutely insane

don't know if I'd compare it to doom but they're definitely upping their game. modem warfare should have all hands on deck. just drop the other studios already. don't need a yearly release
It was my biggest problem with Warzone. They continue the story through Warzone and I honestly don’t care about it.
What are you talking about, the campaign was awesome in MW 2019
@@itschewsday5252 warzone added a lot to the story due to the fact that it takes place after campaign in real time along with spec ops but it was ruined and left on a cliffhanger at the end of season 6 and the integration of cold war
They are going to have to do something like this considering the game is on a 2 year life cycle. Also explains the price increase. In the long run, just based on initial purchase price we are saving money
I definitely think it’d be cool if they released missions like in a tv show monthly sort of way
Looks incredible! The sound design and realistic crisp look is insane. In 4k looks even better! Cannot wait!
I love how beefy and powerful the gun sounds are now. Even the silencers sound more loud with ARs like how it is in real life. Plus gotta love the Scar that Soap uses :)
The game engine has definitely improved, saw the gun thrown up from the semtex explosion at @5:33 . Also the sound design and atmosphere is far more developed than the 2019 MW campaign, I hope they nail the multiplayer just as much

@@Hiraeth-0X why do you say that
I would like to hear about Lobby's staying together after matches in MP and I hope other players do too.
Make COD lobbies stay together again!!!! Idk why they took that outta the game. Also bring back map vote, connection based matches instead of sbmm
I actually prefer the disbanding lobbies as I get a new refreshing game each time instead of playing the same people.
@@scripted_alpha8410 you can always quit and join another lobby it’s nice to have both options
