Yes. I'm thinking of upgrading to Pro. I am also using FreedCodeCamp simultaneously. I like Codecademy but I'm starting to feel I'm not getting as much out of it by not building the projects they offer.

Just to clarify. The 20 dollars/month is if you pay for a whole year, a single sum of 240 dollars. Otherwise, its 40 dollars a month which is paid monthly. So it's quite a commitment if you want to save 50% of the cost, that might be positive though as it gives you an incentive to study more when you know that you bought a full year.
I'm currently on the free version and I'm doing the Python 2 free course which I like a lot, I'm completely new and so far I've learned more than I thought.

Such a well content-structured video. This is the best review I found so far. I'm still in my long wheels when it comes to learning how to code, but so far, I started with the course 'How to code' and seems to work smooth as an introductory gate to this world. After, I will take my time to catch on one language at a time. Looks like it's all about what do you want to build or get.

I’m trying to do the Data Science course on Code academy and the Python course is not very good imo. I also did the JavaScript course and thought that one was great but with Python it feels like it gives me a small lesson, doesn’t explain the “why” for anything, and then expects me to make huge leaps without explaining anything. Does anyone have better options specifically for learning Python?
