Nah. I dont agree. I think FairyTale is a breath of fresh air and we need even more of these light, feel good shows. There is enough negativity in this world. Its nice to watch something that brings a smile to your face. There is room for every genre on our TV screens [romance, comedy, thriller, horror, soaps].

For those criticising Sehar as Umeed. I think she did absolute justice to her character. Umeed is displayed as an impulsive, bubbly and carefree girl who takes life very lightly. That's the beauty of the character. It's the way the character has been written. And Fairytale is loved by audience because of the chemistry both the leads share. I don't like the way they review the dramas. I mean channels like Something Haute and Fuschia are much more professional and likeable than these so called senior actors who themselves are doing stereotypical roles.

Agree Fairytale has its flaws but Sehar played Umeed so well that even writing limitations couldnt get one to hate her. There is no dearth of entertainment in the show & full credit goes to Sehar & Hamza for that. Both are extremely talented. Sehar is too good to make Umeed convincing with the way she is written & as always society finds it difficult to accept flaws in woman even in fiction . Really these critics are deliberately making a fool of themselves for attention by not even showing a sign that they get the genre even after watching first 4 episodes. Writing is progressive & goes with the current times which these ppl clearly refuse to accept or like out of negative mindset... to these critics touch some grass aur apna ilaaj karao, get well soon!

I think before criticising the drama judges should have watch season 1 properly.The name of the drama is fairy tale and they are expecting something logical from this drama thats really funny.& Why they are comparing this drama with old dramas,I am sure this drama is only made for new generation & this generation is loving it.

These are those aunties who watch sash bahu Ki ladai wale serials and can't live without a shit show in life. Fairytale is a very light and refreshing drama they think it's boring because there's no deadly chaos in every ep like trying to kill someone or being jealous and want to take place of others. Sehar did justice to the role of umeed. Umeed is a carefree bubbly don't take life and problems too seriously typa girl and sehar nailed it. And on the other hand farjad is a mature crazy in love always give in first typa person and Hamza did amazing. Both are meant for each other and their story is refreshing light romantic and lovely. But those aunties won't get it they are full of sh*t already.
