Hi Jeremy. What are costs and benefits of sticking with the same brand throughout the years. For instance, starting with a $150 Korg Keyboard and then buying more expensive and sophisticated Korg keyboards as the person builds up their skills? At the end, is it better to swap or stick? Thanks. (could be with a video?).

Growing up in the 90s, I remember how expensive piano lessons used to be, especially at places like Yamaha. I have always wanted to learn to play the keyboard and electric guitar but my parents could not afford professional lessons at that time. However, thanks to people like Jeremy it is now possible to learn the basics of piano. I feel so fortunate to live through an era where one can learn anything without worrying about forking out exorbitant amounts of cash. Thanks a lot Jeremy!
Back in the 60s, I had a lady (Mrs. Lucille Rodek) come to my house for my lessons and only cost $4.50 PER LESSON). I stayed with her for about a year and a half and she was fantastic!
haven't played since age 11 - this 73 year old will be digging out our kids' portable keyboard out of storage...Covid relearning - thank you!

Subbed...3 months ago, I bought a PA600 to learn how to play music while recovering from a major op'. Having seen the keyboard you are using, I think your lessons will be even more beneficial. I'm planning on teaching myself using books and videos, as I've wanted to learn since I was a child. I'm finally in a position where I can afford the equipment, although work and other commitments would get in the way of getting proper lessons, lol. Hey, I'm never gonna go pro, but it has been a lifelong dream of mine to play an instrument. I did try the guitar, which was fun, but I can never seem to be fully engaged in it. The mind keeps wandering back to the piano, haha! Let's see if I can figure this out by myself!

This was absolutely fantastic and extremely educational/informative. My 7 year old has had an interest for the keyboard/piano since he was a small child. I'm going to be 62 years old in a week and I was thinking about taking up the piano for my first time ever. In high school I played the trumpet, trombone, and tuba, but didn't have an interest in the piano until recently.
I have forgotten all about reading notes, so I'm going to have to learn all over again.
I really enjoyed your beginner video. I was told I should purchase a keyboard that I is a 88 keyboard.
I was looking at Casio, Yamaha, etc.
I found a keyboard stand on CL so I thought I should buy it so incase I buy a keyboard I would already have that purchased.
