Are you sure, from my experience that move helps you feel the amount of control you have with the nunchaku depending on where you grip it, it's also a way to keep your opponent back like bruce lee did. That way I learned that higher grip meant more control and lower grip loses that but the reach is longer. I tend to honestly switch between the 2 while training
Exactly! Clearly, this lady ain't it! There's nothing wrong per se with learning from videos, but you have to find videos featuring people who have a clue! There are enough proper masters who have recorded videos (about the nunchaku or anything else) which can be found here on CZcams, but sadly, many people can't tell the difference between the real sensei and the absolute crap we see in this video... @@thetruthhurts7500

I hold my nunchaku farther down toward the end. Just my preference, NOT saying she is doing it wrong.
I mean, it’s all about reach and leverage right? I hold them at the end too, well I’m trained to do so.
