shouldve made it likes cuz you have 500 now
Nobody like begging for comments
👍👍
I only started playing a few days ago and thought I'd be put off by the graphics but it's actually the graphics that kept me in this game. The world of Kenshi is so beautiful in an unsettling, surreal way. Visiting each zone for the first time is rewarding in a way that so many similar games fail to do. it's captured something really unique to make limping across a desert enjoyable.
Kenshi’s really unique, it just has charm. I think it’s just how passionate the main guy that developed it was. The man spent more than a decade just working on the same game. I think towards the end of the cycle he at least had some employees.
I play the game all the time. My only problem with it is the graphics they look like shit you can’t prove me wrong
I love the graphics! Yeah theres wonk, but its just too endearing. And if you get far, you can have big squad fights play out in real time and its just glorious and cinematic 😂
My favorite mod is a borderlands styled graphics mod
Its a weird case for sure. I feel like every facet by itself is kinda subpar but when taken in all at once its a surpsingly beautiful game.
It really says something about games where everything is photorealistic, perfectly modeled, often scanned from real life that in the end are bland and forgetable. I feel like so many games are dedicated to trying to push people's computers to the point of lighting on fire that they lose focus on making an aesthetic that anyone would ever care about.
Kenshi on the other hand looks jank af but manages to be beautiful because every aspect of it has a specific intent to create the feeling of a desolated world full of sick and miserable people clinging to the barest thread of hope. In spite of not being perfect or realistic looking it still manages to feel more real than tripple a studio games with hyper realistic graphics and it also manages to light your computer on fire while eating your frames like popcorn.
one of the best games ever made, hyped for the 2nd one to no end
coming out early 2035

I suffer from crippling depression. Bought Kenshi two days ago after postponing it for years. And let me tell, this game might just save my life. I was so depressed that no other game could motivate me. I bought several games on Steam just to ask refund minutes later. My depressed brain can't muster the energy to follow linear games. But Kenshi is the perfect sandbox, I just never know what adventure will come next. I feel like playing with my G.I Joes again, sending my squads of unique characters on their missions across the backyard. This game and also videos such as this are keeping me going.
Best investment I've made in the last decade!
I understand what you're saying about being depressed, can I ask what you do for a living? I felt similar to what you explained, I was told I need to do something "hard" to not think about anything else. I ended up in CDL driving school, it was hard, but it made me get out of my own head. I'm currently still numb, but I don't hate myself as much. Long story short I'm just giving you advice I got. Do something hard that benefits you, you'll get put of your head, you'll get a dopamine drop for succeeding, and better your life. You can tell me I'm dumb, but it worked for me. Good luck gent, it's rough out there.
Start going to the gym or in general work out. That will 100% help if you do it consistently on a weekly basis
@@imthedevilkys536 That's actually great advice and just made me think of something. Thank you very much!
@@eirikmb I'll look into that, for sure. Thank you, man.
@@MedievalFantasyTVCan confirm i was having panic attacks every day and living with crippling medical anxiety, personally i got a job and moved across the country, what bro is saying is very true, life is harder now but i feel like im making progress in life, like a videogame progress irl feels good asf
I love Kenshi so much, my favorite survival RPG
This is the first video that’s made me understand the love of kenshi, and I’ve tried about a dozen. Well done, I’m super invested now!
My favorite way to play this game is to build in the most inhospitable zones and adapt to survive in them so i dont have to worry about being raided. If i pick up the game again i want to make a squad of human and maybe shek in the black desert, and just have good enough gear to not need to worry about the acid rain. Previously ive set up shop in the fog islands, leviathan coast and even the ashlands, all of which make for some awesome passive defenses.
My favorite had to be the fog islands simply for the fact of everytime i got a raid notification, either they wouldnt even make it to my base or theyd show up heavily wounded, missing half their people and get slaughtered by me instead. One thing i found hilarious was the amount of paladins and inquisitors that managed to survive the hordes just to keep running around the zone seemingly lost just trying to survive, and eventually seeing the text bubble of them screaming once they finally get caught and eaten. If you build up on one of the "islands" in the fog the fog men dont like to go up there to much so they tend to leave you alone
The good ole game, watching kenshi videos make me want to start another journey everytime
Oh man, it’s been awhile since I played Kenshi, but I love stories like this! You’ve got me invested and I need to know what happens next!!
Honestly, this was so entertaining! God, please continue!
Really want to see the next part of their exploits. Really enjoyed this. I especially loved the bit about turning in Vagabond for the bounty then breaking him out.
Honestly a 10/10 game different experience everytime you play can’t wait for kenshi 2
Seems like a fun series. Cant wait for part 2!
It is always fun to watch Kenshi content! Keep it up! \o/
I heard from a friend that the game recently got updated. I typed in "Kenshi update" and your video was on the top of the list. Not what I was looking for but, it was still nice to watch.
my favorite early game strat is run straight to flats lagoon and loot the bonewolves that charge the front gates in endless waves. I recruite chad, hire mercs, and buy a pack bull from any of the randomly spawning nomad caravans, then go loot the drug lab using chad to pick the locks.
Love your videos 🤝🏻keep doing it 🤝🏻
Loved itt!! I need the next episode
Nahhhhh you gotta keep it coming I just discovered this game due to a buddy of mine and I’m hooked imma need to see what happens next 😂
wow never heard of this game before...I might have to download it for myself. awesome video

Hope to see the next part of the journey
Love the vid. Keep it up
Love your vids😊
I played the slave start with a friend just to try it out. Thought it would be an absolute nightmare. Turned out to be one of the funniest gaming experiences I've ever had. Freakin, amazin game!
so hyped for part 2
Great video!
Oh PLEASE keep this series going, that was some crazy money to make so early on!
Loved this
By far the best combat system I have ever seen in an rts/rpg/open world/thing. Amazing to see this channel is alive in 2023 what an epic game.
Such a cool, cruel game. Absolutely love the massive scope of the world and all the wild shit that unfolds. Bring on more episodes!
Great work buddy, i want to see the rest of the story of what happens next :)
Don't you dare hold back more episodes of this Kenshi experience!
enjoyed this run! pls do episode2^^
Now I want more! I need the second part of this
My favorite part of this video was you tipping your hand at the end letting us know that you already had the power to give us more, you would just withhold it until we paid up in comments. Kenshi vibes. And my personal favorite personally experienced kenshi moment (I’ve been a huge fan of the game for a long time but played less than 5 total hours) was when I led some bandits into town hoping the guards would save me, and when the bandits were vanquished and I lay dying at the top of shinobi tower, one of the shinobi guards picked me up. I started cheering assuming they would help me survive, but quickly realized they were actually just picking me up to throw me out so I could die outside the city walls and stop bleeding on their floors.
Pleeeeease continue this series 😭💪🏻
Nice video, this game is a true work of art. Part 2 please !
This is super cool! I had never heard of this game before today and I’m definitely interested in buying this soon! 😮
Trust me it's worth it
great video, you may have convinced me to pick the game back up
love it !
How have I never heard of that game it sounds and looks incredible
I had a playthrough where I bummed around the hub mining copper for a while (usually do that do build up my starting funds) but when I finally made my way to Squin, NOBODY was there.
No merchants, no guards, no recruitable npcs, not even a body in sight, a literal ghost town. I always assumed some massive group of slavers or something came in and enslaved the whole town, and that’s why there were no bodies. Idk if that’s even possible or it was just a glitch in the rendering, but that’s my head cannon lol.
Anyways since no one was around I was able to loot every container in town, built my lockpicking and thievery up really high really fast with no risk, plus I amassed a crazy amount of caps, food, medical supplies, weapons and armor for my whole squad. Best start I ever had, that group went on to be legendary.
Haven't played this game in YEARS, but it was so fucking fun. I have to start it up again!
Thanks
I’m here for the next episode!
Love this vid
great video made me realy interested in the game
Another reason I need a PC, can't wait for a next part to see how good this game actually is
Very nice!
Great vid dog
500th comment! Make more kenshi stuff! Love this game, been thinking about getting back into it cos its been a while
Yes i do! I put notifictions on to not miss it
Can't wait until part 2
my personal favourite way of making money in kenshi involves going to a bar and looking for anybody in the drifter faction. guards dont care if you start a fight with drifters, and because they are almost always low level with terrible gear you can easily just walk up behind them in stealth mode, hover your mouse over them then spam rmb and space to assassinate them like 10 times inorder to power level your assassination skill, once its around 50 you can then go to a robotics merchant (theres one in mongrel) that sells cybernetics and then use the same trick to knock them out and rob their entire stock. a good haul of cybernetics can sell for upwards of 100000 cats
looks like a fun game! need more vids
I liked the all video, so I can't say what was my favorite part, but maybe the beginning where Vagabond was always going to jail xD
Great video
Keep it going
Kenshi veteran here, awaiting kenshi 2. good content my guy i want more
Commenting and subbed just cuz I want part 2
keep this series up pls
Wow. I guess I finally need to play Kenshi!
Looks fun
You can continue, with the next episode!😄
Total chaos let's goooo!!!!!
I need to know the rest of the history, don't let us without the climax of vagabond's legendary tales!! Pleaseee 🥺🥺🥺🥺
Love it
Ahhh Kenshi, I remember grinding stealth and assassination for 2 ingame weeks, just to attempt to bring in the bounty of The Bugmaster, I save scummed the hell out of the trip to the tower, and the trip back to the Shek Capital.
Commenting for the goal!
Do make another video. My team of warriors is currently camped in the Grey Desert where we just bought a tower as a second HQ
My favourite place in Kenshi is likely the main menu because it feels like home. I'll keep returning to it when I die.
i would love to see more
good vid bro
One time, I woke up as a rebellious slave. Met two imprisoned outlaws who were eager to help me. One of my friends escaped at the cost of a limb. Several days later he manages to rescue me, dying in the process. The second guy died also in the process of distracting the guards. After a long walk to the closest village, all bruised up, I managed to disguise myself in order to stay under the radar. A bar fight happens, dozens of dead body's, Including guards, with insane good supplies on their bodies and some cats. Off course I initiated that, and when I was on my weakest point, with a bag full goodies, my leg got slashed off, and 10 guards imprisoned me for life. Couldn't run, couldn't fight, only skillset I managed to master in the slave camp was stealth and lockpicking.
After several days, mastering the art of stealth, I dropped all the gear in a safe corner in the prison, befriended the Shenobi Thieves and persuaded them to help me get out of the city. But, we failed and all of us were Imprisoned. I was all alone, I only had allies but no squad members. Until one night, I managed to escape past dozens of guards, going at 1mph. We got a few worthy items for a leg-trade, but we had to ditch the big bag.
Stranded in the desert, with a sh*t ton of skimmers, bandits and slave traders, we managed to reach yet another city after several days crawling through the sand. I felt weak, and missed my buddies in the slave camp, who were gone. When reaching the gates, guess what; The guards recognised me and tried to imprison me for terrorism. Eventually, After their failed attempt finding the ghost of the night, I sneaked Inside the robotic shop, got a maxed out stealth limb, and just stealthed my way past them. Running through the night, I managed to sneak back to the previous camp, getting all that juicy loot from the bar fight, and escaping yet again. Running all the way to robot territory, I managed to earn a steady 50k cats, and premium gear for my fighter. 20-ish days had passed, more then 15 were legless.
After that hustle, I became a bounty hunter, scrambling as much coin and eliminating as much targets as possible. One day, the slave traders of the allied nations will get a one-man army in front of their door, slaughtering everyone in the slave camps and releasing the slaves one by one. This is for you, Shark and Donnie.
Can't w8 for part 2
Where do i make the ore drill for iron? Cant see them in my research or is it at research bench 3?
@robokast One thing I always do if I start as wanderer is run to squin, get a backpack, then hit the hive village west of the Hub. Usually a ton of beak things, bulls, and gorillos wander in and the hive take them out. Easy 20k cats to get a building and some materials.
I liked this part. The heisting.
Need that part 2 please
nothing has made me want to get a game more, please make a part 2!
One of these days ill sit down and invest myself in Kenshi, this game makes great stories lol
Please continue this
Everyone is revisiting kenshi and I'm just started playing! Honestly it's in my top 5 best games of all time and climbing the ranks fast.
This game is batshit crazy 10/10
It's been a while since I played Kenshi, I should get back into it.
This video made me want to try Kenshi. I sure want to know how Vagabond's story continues and I'm on my way to buy a copy of Kenshi right now.
Cool video.
Even if I start in the Hub, my first action is running to the grey desert. The way station there is the best place to train your char.
Thanks
Can you post your mods list? I'm curious what you use.
Good vid its much funner when you dont exploit, reload saves, use op mods, only then does it actually become a story generator imo.
Yes please. Can you make it a series.
super entertaining
What's your UI mod called? I like how clean it looks.
My best kenshi story is a group of 3 dudes finding an ancient machine complex, looting the whole thing, and on the way out, they get attacked by a single beak thing. One of the dudes gets eaten alive, and instead of trying to save him, the other two dudes looted him and left. Made a profit
more kenshi, doin' my part for the algo
very awesome
Fun fact if there is a empty cage or pole in the police station you can just drop them in there and it will give you the Cats without having to talk to the Guards
Also you can use any level 2 training dummies/chest instead of the level 1 ones and it will still let you use it and you will level up your skill faster for the first few level if below the thresehold of the level 1 training dummies/chest
I hope it goes on sale for christmas. I've always wanted to play it.
Steam winter sale started today
Turning in your buddy for the bounty made me laugh
