It's amazing how Dan can manipulate his voice to sound similar to the original artist, as he does on so many songs. Here he sounds like Axl. On Journey covers, like Steve. His many accents add to each performance. Celtic. Scot. You name it. Dan can do it all. He doesn't try to replace the original artist (Freddie, Elvis) but pays tribute to them. The appeal of cover songs lies primarily in reviving lost classics - at least that has been the case so far. Today it almost seems as if two to three weeks of life for a new song are enough for a new interpretation of it to find its way into the world. However, the results are usually quite different in quality. In any case, Dan Vasc has done it again. Similar, yes, but still unique in its own way. At your own risk, I have to say, better than the original. Of course it's debatable, but who wants that...♥️
