This is kinda off subject but, I put chia seed and ground flax seed in my oatmeal every morning. For about 5 months now, I've lost 50 lbs. I think that has had a huge impact on my weight loss. I also love chia pudding. Im gonna give this a try today. Love those chia seeds!!
Chia seeds added to anything helps. I too add it to my cottage cheese and in smoothies. No taste full of fiber and protein it’s a win win for weightloss.

(I added honey to both but omitted the lemon for the peach tea) Yummy!
The recommended daily amount of chia seed is approx. 1 tbsp. or 15 grams. And the seed needs to soak several hours in a liquid before ingesting. They turn gel like and are better for indigestion.

@@crosbybothwell5725 Amazon has the best price with lower carbs. I buy it at Hannaford now and then too but be careful of the carbs some are 3-5 but lower priced ones have 13. When you have only 20-30 carbs a day that puts you over easily. It’s good on fasting days tho

Reinhard Langer I add Chia seeds, Oats and yoghurt and leave it overnight in the fridge for my breakfast and add a banana or blueberry if in season I also use Chia Seed to thicken my sauces instead of corn-starch. Its healthier, it’s tasteless, and does the same trick. I grind it in a liquidizer first until it becomes a powder That way it dissolves faster (I love it in my Bolognese sauce) That’s just me, Try it, it works
She really missed a very important step! Letting the mixture sit for hours and/or overnight. Other wise the chia’s will plump up in your stomach which isn’t good for your digestion or gut.

@GLW I'm trying it now. The gel isn't a jello consistency. The seeds themselves get gel like. They go down pretty easy. I'm not using the lemon or honey. But if you don't think too hard about it, it all goes down pretty easy.

I make a cup of ginger tea. Let it cool. Pour tea, a tbs of chia seeds, 1/4 tsp turmeric, 1/4 tsp pepper, some cayenne pepper, squeeze of lemon and my fish oil. Let set in fridge for 3 hrs , mix well and drink.
This method of losing weight is probably better than the weight losing products you see on the tv commercials; and it’s probably less expensive than the weight loss products that you see on television commercials.

I make mine totally different I get a gallon jug for $60 bottles of water for the cup for two seats for the cup of lemon juice and a third a cup of agave syrup shake it up that’s on the car for 15 minutes shake it up again put it in the fridge raider look for a half hour shake up again what is that for about an hour or two and you look up water for a couple days and it’s amazing to see the filling up very good night trading works for me
I've noticed that if I overdo it in a. Smoothie, I have intense colon cramping the next day. But I've also noticed I can get away with more chia if I do something like this where it's been soaked in water and highly gelled.

As much as possible every day l drink approx 2 litres of just plain distilled water for the last 2 yrs. Just don't forget to have place to void that water From your bladder.

Yes! It's because, if you soak them, they essentially “sprout”, which makes them easier to digest.

chia seeds need to be grinded, the enzymes react with the surface so you need maximize the surface
