I'm an aries (March 27th) and married to the love of my life who is a taurus (May 2nd). She has tamed me down in a way that helped me extinguish a lot of fire and untamed aries drawbacks allowing to carry out a more peaceful approach in this life. She is walking talking therapy when I need it and is my rock when I need her to lean on. For nearly a year I was stuck in an anxiety induced rut stemming from my job and my professional life and she helped pull me out of the dark whirlwind. I love her so much. I think it's true that Aries can be self-absorbed but also extremely caring, generous, and selfless. I think it all depends on how you treat an Aries... For me, I don't need others to return every favor I do for them, but I do need to feel like I am being appreciated in some way. When I feel like my efforts are wasted, I get very hurt and sometimes angry. I think Aries also can get very frustrated when people make them feel self-centered or conceited because it's not our intention to inconvenience others. We just need our needs met before we can jump in and satisfy the needs of everyone else; and in all honesty, that's what we love doing the most... making people happy... as long our tank is full.

I'm an Aries male, I'm 37 years old.. This is all pretty spot on.
I put a lot of value in loyalty, when it's betrayed I turn foul in an instant.
I'm overly sensitive, even though I'm a 6'4" / 250 lb athletic looking guy with a big beard, I am very easily hurt and I cry privately often.
I have a notoriously short temper and when I do lose it, I feel like absolute garbage about it for like a week afterwards and go out of my way to make amends.
I'm quick to shun people if I feel like they have a negative attitude or if I feel they're not pulling their own weight, I am straight up petty about it too. I'll completely ignore people even if they're talking to me, I won't make eye contact, it's super childish.
I am addicted to taking risks, it's gotten me burned many times.
The only thing I would disagree with is the impatience thing, I'm pretty patient with others.
