Hi love! Thanks for this video, great for the newbies, and a good refresher for us old-school plant parents. I agree, I wash my BB,s with warm water often as a preventative using sprays only when pests present( i do put Bonide granules in my plants due to the fact I have so many, it has really helped avoid pests!) How do I determine the epsom salt amount to add to my indoor Majestic Palms? How do you water them… do you soak and drain out water? K
I stopped using epsom salt for a long time now…but when I did it’s a tablespoon to a gallon of water. I also don’t have majesty palms but for my large floor plants, they do have drain pans or trays and I do top water them, and stop watering once I see water coming out and into the drip pan or tray. I let it sit in the water for up to 24 hours and if the plant didn’t absorb the excess water by then, I do throw out the extra water. But after doing it for some time I kinda can guess how much water to give my plants so I save my self the need to throw out excess water.
