Hi... How is the moisture able to escape through the Dry Zone backing plaster, as you mention, when using a standard (Thistle) finish plaster, without causing damage to the finish plaster?...or, did you use something other than that? Cheers.
Jacob Hall my trade is as a plasterer and iv done it since 1983, I plaster the damp work but bigger stuff I will sub out . I earn more on the damp remedial stuff.

ningis21 it just diffuses through and into the atmosphere through evaporation. The finish allows it through
Why didnt you use dry flex membrane in this case?
Is it because its waterproof?
How do you choose when to use use faster evaporation material vs the tanking materials and stuff
I use the best system for the job and decide after the survey
