Lex luthor taking off Flash mask and saying " I have no idea who this is" is probably one of the best moments in the JLU.
Agreed. Especially his delivery. So good.
Star Wars :Rouge One and Wally!Flash was voiced by Lex in Smallville.
That Episode ("The Great Brain Robbery") was clever and funny.
Batman waiting with Ace before she has a brain aneurysm and dies.... I'll never forget that.
Or Clark having to say goodbye to a son that wasn't real...
Or after the spell that made them kids wore off and Diana says "Still, it was nice being a kid again" and Bruce replies with "I haven't been a kid since I was 8 years old.."
Or Flash being kind and empathetic with The Trickster and Orion constantly questioning his ways. Later saying to Batman that he doesn't understand Flash and as Orion flies away, Bruce says "No, you don't.."
The DCAU is the definitive version of these characters by far.
Glad I'm not the only one XD
Every episode with the Question was absolute gold.... Very very underrated character
Sad he's changed in New 52. Hope Rebirth fixes him
Cooper B maybe after the doomsday clock storyline we'll see the question come back
Gautham Ramesh when he sang that pop star music
All Question fans should pick up the "DC Universe: Hell Town" novel by Dennis O' Neil. It would be a perfect series for DC's new digital service. It could be their "Daredevil."
I was amazed how cool and funny the character is. To this day, I'm surprised it hasn't been pitched for a TV. The Question would be a perfect TV series IMO. Maybe it will be someday.
In my opinion, absolutely the BEST Super-Hero Animated series EVER! ^_^
Chup Smith but it my opinion it's the best show ever
To me Batman TAS hold the gold medal, but is a close one.
Is just that without it, Justice League series wouldnt be so amazing. (There they set the background to almost everything)
This show is a lot better than Young Justice
HBO spawn is a contender
Batman TAS started them all off
As a Wally West fan, Divided we fall was my favourite. It showed the true power of the Flash.
I know Right?!!! sad thats not there...
Amen to that!
Thought I was the only one that thought that. Don’t get me wrong, the entire series is awesome but there’s just a something about the “Divided We Fall” story arc that was sick. Probably when Flash turned up like a lighting bolt and delivered EARTH SHATTERING hit after EARTH SHATTERING hit to Braniac/Luthor...
yes my favorite
Totally.
I can't believe the episode where Flash almost didn't make it by using the speedforce to beat brainac luthor isn't on here...or at least #2 cause #1 was perfect for me
rodrigoangeles23 I feel you on that one. The episode is called "Divided we fall" btw.
I was expecting this as the #1 pick. I waiting til the end of the vid and was disappointed...How could they leave that out, even as an honorable mention?
rodrigoangeles23 yes that is by far my favorite episode. The part where Flash runs around the world to punch the Luthor/Brainiac combo still gives me chills till this day.
rodrigoangeles23 THANK YOU that is my all time favorite moment and not even a mention what the hell!
rodrigoangeles23 OMG YES It's a solid episode and The Flash running around the world and defeating Brainiac is my favorite scene in the whole show!!
These writers should write for the new Justice League movie.
forreal
Too late for that. =(
word
The sad thing was that the main core writer of Justice League, static shock and original Ben 10 passed away. DAMN MAN. RIP Dwayne Glenn McDuffie
Myles Schutte The DCEU needs to STUDY these series like a road map. It outclasses every film and show ever done with DC characters.
UHM? Epilogue?!
Ace: I am dying very soon...
I loved that one too... even though it makes me sweat from my eyes
Was surprised that didn't make it. Even for a show with so many great scenes, Ace's death stands above and beyond the rest.
it should've been on this list surely
It didn't even get a mention.
It definitely should've made the list but I don't like watching that episode because it's depressing lol.
Little Piggy has what might have been the greatest scene that got cut. According to Bruce Timm originally, right after Diana becomes a pig, they were going to cut to the Joker, Harley, and their goons. The Joker is laying out his greatest gag yet, how they are going to finally kill Batman and be rich and it will be great... and then they all freeze when they see Batman walk past the alley they are in, craddling Wonder Pig, saying "It's okay, we'll figure this out. Don't worry."
The Joker would just stare before yelling "That's it! Pack it up! We're going home!" Harley would be shocked and ask him why and he would yell "CAN YOU TOP THAT?!? NOPE! WE ARE TURNING IN EARLY, GETTING A GOOD NIGHT'S REST AND... and... start again in the morning"
why ... why did they have to cut that scene it would have fit in nicely and given us more of Mark Hamill's joker
Because of the fucking stupid Bat Embargo. Batman Begins was coming out right around this time, and they didn't want to confuse viewers (especially younger kids) with the different continuities of JLU and the Nolan films. However, I would sacrifice the Nolan trilogy any day for JLU and the rest of the DCAU.
Damn that would’ve been so good 😫
He just gave up...he knew what the pig was
Adeel Ahmed bold claims but if I had to choose I’m with you .the best joker on the big screen just makes it the hard choice but the animated movies they brought out were stunning especially under the red hood
And now look at where superhero cartoons are today.
Just Some Guy with a Mustache horrible
Just Some Guy with a Mustache y would jellal have a mustache 😂💀💀😂
Holy crap, you ARE everywhere.
thunderpantz lol who
Just Some Guy with a Mustache at least young justice is coming back
This is the definitive version of the DC universe and its characters. I'll NEVER forget Batman waiting with Ace as she has a brain aneurysm and dies...
THE DCAU was so fucking real and hardcore. Instead of being for kids, it was kid-friendly. It wasn't afraid to go there. The characters had great development and you genuinely cared for them.
Alex Love More cartoons need to be kid friendly and not for kids like you said. Great choice of words my friend
They are not even kid friendly, they are family friendly.
it honestly should be a basis for the comics to start at... the dcau had great cohesion and continuity more than DC comics has ever shown in its comics....
Nah because there's no Hal Jordan, Barry Allen, Reverse Flash, a proper Hawkman, a more classic-inspired Aquaman, etc.
Jamie Grabow characters that DC is constantly rebooting and they c an be added in
If only the writers of JL and Unlimited could have been the writers for DCEU movies...
@Jimmy Carr Center Which last 3 movies? And awesome would be a gross overstatement. Aquaman was good, shazam was watchable, and suicide squad was an abomination
@Jimmy Carr Center wonder woman came out before justice league and is the only genuinely good movie in the franchise. Don't lower your standards so that greedy corporations can get away with crap movies
@Jimmy Carr Center Capitain marvel is an extremely low bar in being one of the worst mcu films. And if a film is actually good, it doesn't need a rewatch.
I feel you
This x1000!!!
That moment where Batman sings shows just how great a voice Kevin Conroy has. He definitely sounds right at home as a lounge singer.
May Kevin Conroy rest in peace.
I remember coming home when I was in middle school so exited to turn on the TV and watch this, Batman the animed series, Superman the animated series on boomerang, good old days 😿
IKR?
On boomerang? I watched Batman:The Animated series when it first came out. Damn, I am old.
Boomerang?
DudeFromEndor Boomerang nothing I watched Batman TAS when it first came out
Bro literally the same thing for me. It was the best
i always have and always will love DC
The Marvel movies are better than the DC, however the DC tv shows are much better than Marvel. Go figure.
@@adambowman5964 Who cares?
Okay there are no bad episodes in this series imo, but you're missing some important ones. As in:
A Better World (one of the best interpretations of the Crime Syndicate story line)
For The Man Who Has Everything (heartbreak)
Hearts and Minds (where a children's cartoon series tackles corruption of organised religion, and does it very well)
Divided We Fall (Justice Lords/Cadmus arc comes to amazing conclusion and Flash is epic)
Patriot Act (powers don't make a hero)
The Terror Beyond (showed how faith can be very important to people. Also Grundy!!!)
Epilogue (fucking Ace and Batman=more heartbreak)
Those are just off the top of my head but they're so incredible they have to be acknowledged.
Yeah. Glad someone else here liked Patriot Act
Justice League had some bad episodes in the first season.
You forget that Dr. Fate was used in The Terror Beyond.
In the episode "A Better World", that scene where Justice League Batman is fighting Justice Lord Batman -- that has to be my favorite moment in all of Justice League.
Also Legends from JL Season 1
"A barbershop?"
"Gotta hand it to you, Luthor, nobody would think to look for you here."
Why did it take me so long to get this-
Honestly, was there any bad episode? Even most mediocre one is miles ahead than so many comic based animations.
I think it had one. The one where some ancient goofy guy came and Flash was on TV.
I really wasn't a fan of the one where the justice league was turned into kids. I mean it wasn't awful but... it wasn't good either.
soooo mediocre?
lol that had some great humor moments with kid bat and kid lantern. Clearly a filler episode but a lot of fun!
S-wo mophir's episode was perfect, don't know what you're on
Not even an honourable mention for Epilogue? The one where terry visits Amanda Waller and discovers Bruce is his biological father
Life Is Fickle I agree! I was waiting for that to be on the list. As much I hate Batman Beyond that was one great episode! Probably in my top 5 (Justice league episodes) ...just like you I'm surprised it didn't at least get an honorable mention😑
Matthew Bailey Episodes like these need to have five-minute-long Honourable Mentions.
David W.
Honorable mention every other episode
Lot of people thought it was a very campy episode, and was very predictable.
Life Is Fickle thank you, i was wondering the same thing
When the Android returned for Luther, he basically defeated the entire Green Lantern corp and also demolished everyone in the JLU with the villains. AND THATS NOT HERE?
Bruce Wayne It is in the honorable mentions, but they showed the wrong clip. The episode is called The Return, but the clip they showed is from The Greatest Story Never Told
Yeah I wondered that myself.
I have to agree with you on that one.
Bruce Wayne One of my favorites, I Tabula Rasa. that episode with Amazo.
I prefer the episode where Luthor got the nanobot powers and beat everyone and flash went his fastest - that was epic af
what about the episode when the Justice League turned into Kids.
That was definitely my favourite!
greatest animated show ever!! the hereafter episode i cried liked a baby for superman's funeral that score was so deep from funeral for a friend comic
bigrule28 me too. I watched it dozens of times, and it still gets me. Especially Wonder Woman going berserk on Toyman, and whole crowd coming to a standstill
I greatly appreciated the notion of a low tier villain like Toyman being the one to do the most grievous harm to Superman and the League as a whole. Valuable lesson for the good guys to never underestimate an opponent!
Let's be real here, guys: this list is a folly. EVERY episode of Justice League and JLU was excellent.
Every.
Single.
One.
I don't know, the one where they're turned into children was pretty corny.
...
But it did have baby Etrigan so that would automatically elevate it back to excellent
baby batman trying way too hard to be cool while his friends were just like "eh. whatever" had me rolling.
Ace Rumble Oh come on that episode is classic! Changing Etrigan's diaper was a job for Superman!
Corny as it may be, it made for an entertaining episode.
No truer statement has ever been made.
Haha!
*Thumbs Up*
For the Man Who Has Everything and Epilogue are the two best and didn't even make the list.
Jonathan Reid exactly what I said
I WILL FOREVER LOVE THIS CARTOON SERIES WITH MY WHOLE HEART :')
Mark Hamill is the best Joker in my opinion
Sebastian Ramirez he is considered the best Joker ever!
Sebastian Ramirez ever heard of Heath ledger
+GodSpeed Who the hell is that?
Michael Ironside doing Darkside is amazing, only Frank Welker did as good a job
GodSpeed don't know who that is
How didn't the episode where batman sits with ace as she is about to die make the list that episode makes me tear up every time
SkyFrostTheSaltiestGamer it did? It was the royal flush gang episode he just didnt mention it
I always thought it was its own episode
XaldinX Watch Mojo listed the two part Wild Cards episode, but SkyFrostTheSaltiestGamer is referring to the epsode Epilogue. Both included Batman and Ace.
BEN 5065 oh my bad.. your def right!
"Epilogue" was truly one of the best in the series in my opinion. A good clean ending to Batman: Beyond and paying homage to Batman: The Animated Series towards the end of the episode. Batman is one of the most complex DC characters and this episode truly makes his compassion as a human shine even to villains. 10/10.
I think its well established bat man has a thing for cat ladies..
Espada2234 a furry if you will?
Espada2234 kinky
I guess he likes pussy...cats
Bruh...
He's a ladies batman.
The one where Hawkgirl and Solomon Grundy become friends of a sort, before he dies. So many feels. Great writing.
Best cartoon show ever
Taylor Harvey agreed 🙌🙌🙌
Taylor Harvey Avatar the last Airbender is the best.
+Dr Manhattan and Silver Surfer: The Matter Bosses
Aww, teen titans was awesome tho :(
Batman: The Animated Series says hello
Batman Beyond or Gargoyles
How did Warner Brothers go from this to Teen Titans Go?
the guys who made TTG never watched justice league or young justice or the original teen titans they just said they made it more "kid friendly" even though IT ALREADY FUCKING WAS.
When did TTG get a larger fambase than the original?
Ashu Prak ttg is targeted a much younger audience it probably wasnt made for your age group. Let the kids have their time
I agree. Teen Titans Go is pure crap. How are they getting their own movie?
My teacher said TTG is for children who have three second attention span.
1. You mixed up the titles for the honorable mentions. The Booster Gold clip is from “The Greatest Story Never Told” not “The Return”.
2. Static Shock creator Dwayne McDuffie (R.I.P.) wrote or co-wrote every episode on this list except “Injustice for All”, “The Greatest Story Never Told”, and “This Little Piggy”. What a talented man. He will be missed.
3. “Destroyer” is great and all, and a great ending to the show, but, imho, “Divided We Fall” was far better. Why wasn’t that episode on the list?
Wally West is my favorite Flash cause of this series. Miss it
It was also cool to see a Wonder Woman and Batman romance in this show
Yes! This the base wher 'WonderBat' started! And especially more when Susan Eisenberg - voice of wonder woman loves them herself! No DCAU show or move was ever better than JL/JLU.
How are you making this list and not have For The Man That Has Everything in it?
TheSayianWarriorDokkan IKR
I think this list is base on the opinion of the people who works at watchmojo, so take it with a grain of salt or whatever.
+ Mrs Right
No, lists are submitted by users via Watchmojo's site and voted on by other users. This is why the constant "Watchmojo is running out of ideas" troll / hater comments are stupid.
yeees
that episode is by far the best in the entire run. insane how it was left off.
I loved the episode when luthor fused with brainiac was defeated by flash.
Hell yes. That Infinite Mass Punch.
That's still my favorite justice league moment.
Can't believe you didn't show batman and Wonder Woman kissing in the episode star crossed! That was like the best scene ever!
That was Superman in that episode
No superman went with the others also you can tell by his voice that thats Bruce
***Bruce and Diana, not Batman and Wonder Woman
Greatest scene from "Starcrossed" paraphrased
FLASH: Whoa! what happened to the whole secret identity ....
BATMAN: Wally West, Clark Kent, .... Bruce Wayne!
FLASH: Show-off!
What about the episode where Flash beats Luthor/Brainiac by nearly joining with the Speed Force and running faster than he's ever ran before?
Divided we fall. Flash and the Speed Force. Best moment ever!
*Love the way how wonder woman is attracted to batman and not superman ! show is golden*
I always thought (and still thinks) that with Wonder Woman personality a love feeling towards Batman is more credible than to Superman. Batman represent all the things that the Amazons stand by and more.
Superman is already in love with Lois Lane. It made sense to pair WW with someone else.
Yo.... they showed that clip of Booster Gold and said it's from "the Return." That scene is from the episode titled "the Greatest Story Never Told." Might want to double check that, guys.
Yea I was confused also, I really would of liked to seen when Flash beats the brainiac out of lex luthor or When Superman has everything and kid but realizes it was fake. Or when Superman fights doomsday. Or when task force X invades the Justice League.
lol the Return is actually a way better episode than The Greatest Story Never Told
Isaac Sanchez IKR, that's episode deserves an honorable mention as well, Booster Gold is awesome
You are correct. I noticed that error right away.
It's one of my favorite episodes, a bit underrated
Justice League has everything you could ever want in a superhero show!
Just like young justice
My favorite episode has to be the one when Dr. Destiny takes on the Justice League. There's a scene where Batman is closing in on him and Dr. Destiny is trying to use his powers against him. Batman keeps on humming an inane tune in his head to keep this from happening. In that scene Dr. Destiny remarks how Batman doesn't have superpowers, but Batman replies: "Oh I have one superpower, I never give up." When you hear that you know Dr. Destiny is going to lose.
I have to think you thoroughly enjoyed the Elseworlds' crossover then, and the promise that there is still more Dr. Destiny to come.
this show is so great that it created unrealistic expectations for the DCEU for me and a lot of people. still don't know why they didn't take inspiration from this over nolan/frank miller
chris live they are now with the new Justice League movie
chris edouard They should hire the animated series writers (and composers) for the live action shows. Far better than what we're currently getting.
"Purple suit wearing hero known as the question"
Y'all must be colorblind because that suit is freakin' blue
I have read questions comics he has 2 suits 1 Tan/khaki and 1 Blue and this one clearly wasn't tan lol
Honestly Epilogue was my favorite episode. The writers thought that it was going to be the last DC animated Universe episode. Although it only features Batman and Terry McGinnis as Batman Beyond, it really captured the essence of what being a superhero was all about. The weight of it all, and how it affects the ones closest to you. And in the end it’s all about fighting the good fight, and being bigger than yourself. DC has the best animated superhero series.
“For the man who has everything” is one of my favourite episodes, I think it’s a solid adaptation of the Alan Moore story of the same name, and its both emotionally satisfying and truly awesome
"Legends" should be on this list. A great two parter that pays homage to the Justice Society and pushes forward the question of what will heroes do to ensure truth and justice pervail in the end, no matter what the cost.
Bob Smith A better world, brave and the bold, and legends are my favorite arcs from the series
10 spots just isn't enough
"For The Man Who Has Everything" is a fantastic JLU episode. It's based on a comic written by Alan Moore and Superman just lets loose on the villain at the end. It's a lot like the Batman TAS episode "Perchance to Dream", SO GOOD.
Wait, where is 'Legends' part 1 and 2? The the twist at the end was an epic mindfuck!
Lady is that the one with gl & hg's son
Judi Gemini nah that's the one where they went to another universe
What about the episode when Lex-Luthor fusion with Brainiac and nearly kills The Flash? or The man who has everything? My tears can't handdle how sad was Superman when he have to say good bye forever to his son, and how furious he was after that, wow.
Admittedly I expected The Man Who Has Everything to make to be honest
Jιηzσηιηgєη Jυ Nαɴα-Go Rαpιѕυ Me too even Alan Moore liked it
Best episode in my opinion
frick that episode made me cry
Same
that was a good episode also homaged in supergirl tv series the girl who has everything. gotta say melisa benoist has a great body
The fact that I can think of four or five episodes that were left out on this just just shows how amazing this show was.
That Punch of Superman is still my favorite, hope to see in cinema too
I'm sad the episode "For the Man Who Has Everything" wasn't included on the list. It finally showcased the gap in power between Superman's opponents and other members of the Justice League.
Batman meeting Old Bruce and both scolding Terry was priceless
what was it they used to call it..? Stereo?
No Divided We Fall? Blasphemy! That one always shows up on the top episode in polls.
Seriously though there are just so many good episodes to choose from. The Justice League Animated Series encompassed so many stories and had so much talent. It also had some of the darkness from Batman TAS and mixed it with the "lighter" feel of Superman TAS. The result makes me pick this over those two shows (but they were great as well). A great ensemble of characters and great voice acting also made it even better.
Some other episodes that should be mentioned:
1. Divided We Fall (obviously): Great conclusion and watching Flash hit the speed force while his friends helped pull him out was just amazing.
2. Fearful Symmetry: Watching Supergirl discover she had a clone and that Hamilton had betrayed her made this episode memorable. Also some great stuff with Arrow and the Question as well.
3. For The Man Who Has Everything: Great episode from a great comic, so much so that the creator of the original loved it! Watching Mongul be a severe threat was worth it as well. "He'll kill her Clark".
4. The Return: It seems like they called another episode that on this list. Nonetheless seeing Amazo blow through the league was cool and Luthor gets to save the world for once!
5. Flash and Substance: Looking at the true nature of the "buffoon" Flash makes us realize he's able to keep an entire city safe and can do it all while staying cheerful which is something even Batman has to respect. Pairing the Batman and Flash together should have been done more often as it is a great pairing!
Those are just some, as there are plenty others that could be mentioned!
divided we fall had the best moment of the series so it gets a plus from me!
I think a lot of people feel that way haha!
I love Flash and Substance, I am disappointed it didn't even get a mention
The one with the Justice Guild was good too. Pretty sad episode.
Ryan Y. “Crime Doesn’t Pay in Seaboard City!”
The Little Piggy! Nothing beats a Batman and Zatanna team up! And Kevin Conroys singing, just amazing!
The episode I liked was when superman was fighting and beating the shit out of darkseid but the ship was set to explode. Batman had to pull superman off of darkseid with the use of a boom tube.
It's called Twilight I think
The monologue in that one was so good
"I've been living in a world of cardboard. I have to be careful not to break something. But you can take it, can't you? Just for once, I finally get an opportunity to cut loose and not hold back"
Plot convenience.
Pranav Sriram You'd be surprised. DC made a compilation book of most of Superman's fights with Darkseid in the comics, Superman did win his fair share
"You know something Bruce? {gets in Batman's face} You're not always RIGHT." PRICELESS
Justice League and Justice League Unlimited were one of the best cartoons ever broadcast. I actually rewatch them year after year with Batman and Superman the animated series. The writers and artists were at the top of their game...and that was almost 20 years ago.
For The Man Who Has Everything, Comfort & Joy, Epilogue, The Savage Time, Legends, A Better World, etc.
You forgot when Luthor and Brainiac were one and Flash runs around the world to beat him.
Vako Nightsbane wait, I'm watching this now and they forgot that? Well this list is useless then.
Wally was beast in that scene
Both these shows introduced me into comic books (specifically DC) and I'm so thankful for it!
Both are some killer series just like that guy the Mountain
Fernando Mendoza Osorto Low blow.
same
the heroine brawl deserved at least an honorable mention. the fight animation was so fluid and it was great seeing wonder woman wipe the floor with everyone else..
Top 10 Best Spectacular Spider-Man Episodes
AR Studios Yes. They MUST do it 😄 !
AR Studios That would be impossible. There's so many good episodes of Spider-Man, at least half of the show would need to be included.
Get it?
Because there's only about 24 episodes?
@@clark5317 26 episodes. I agree.
Young Justice and Justice league are the best superhero t.v. show ever
ya tho
also batman beyond
fuck young justice
prettyboygio TV stupid lil white kid
+Kjreddragon27 Williams my nigga I'm black
prettyboygio TV Fr? I'm black also my bad bro I swear mostly white people always acting dumb in social media mostly on CZcams and Instagram
i just got done rewatching this show recently. This show and BTAS are like the standards by which all future superhero shows should be judged.
The Spectacular Spider-Man too I think.
Nah... The Spectacular Spider-man was pretty good but BTAS and JL/JLU were a different standard altogether.
Spectacular Spiderman, Young Justice and Teen Titans are as great as them as well.
Cof Avengers EMH Cof
EMH was great, but DC still has the lead in animation
The Christmas episode was one of the greatest too
Definitely the most heart-warming episode. I loved every single scene.
What about the Justice Guild episode, that was really heartbreaking and so damn inspiring.
question was the best character shame dc never uses him
Justice league unlimited episodes are underrated af i mean everything with JL in their name great alone
I love how justice league has that great 90's style animation like iron giant. Who remembers kids wb?
Umm... ''For The Man Who has Everything''...???
Well I seriously dont agree. For beginners, Where's the most emotional episode of justice league? The last episode in the series . The epilogue. Batman and ace.
Amanda to New Batman , "He sat with her until her time came".
czcams.com/video/jWHHsdE_oQg/video.html
Last episode?
I thought that was the one with the League all running out down the steps - "Destroyer"
The most emotional episode was "Legends". It's from the first Justice League.
Justice leauge was so good it had the best batman beyond episode as its finale
Batman TAS, Batman Beyond and Justice League all came together in that Finale.
It wasn’t really a finale it was just the end episode for Season 1 but I understand what you meant. It was pretty cool how they wrapped up the storylines from BTAS, Batman Beyond and Justice League into one story for both Batman’s.
"Savage Time" should have been in the honourable mentions atleast !
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight!
Both of these series are still my favs to this day and always will be.
THAT punch against Darkseid.... well worth for the finale. Although a certain "Bat" still managed to upstage it by avoiding THE Omega Beams....
that was stupid plot Armour. so far, the only one who can dodge those omega beams is the flash. not even superman, who could fly at like mac 5 speed, could avoid them.
Alexander Yuan That was a stupid ass plot hole. Superman can break the sound barrier but can't dodge the beams. No matter how smart you are it's impossible.
Justice League and Unlimited series are so good.
I'm glad they included Hereafter. It is my favorite episode because of Vandal Savage and his realization that he was wrong about destroying the world and his ultimate redemption sending Superman back in time to stop him.
Tabula rasa?
Dang I really thought the one where there turned to kids would be number 1,I really liked that episode:
SilverTrunks SpirtSword
Same
SilverTrunks SpirtSword Ditto
SilverTrunks SpirtSword same!!!
Uh! CHildhood memories
SilverTrunks SpirtSword YO THATS WHAT I THOUGHT
This show honestly had so many great episodes! Sad to see no mention of the Android (AMAZO), or when they turn into kids haha or them vs the Justice Lords :(
A lot of excellent episodes you chose but SHOCKED to not see A Better World mentioned at all. That episode had some of the most long-term repercussions in the series! (President Luther, the Justice Lords, the true first stirrings of romance between John & Shayera...)
Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, Batman TAS, Superman TAS, Spiderman TAS (90s) and X Men TAS and Avatar The Last Airbender were my favorite shows growing up, and I still love watching them
LedZep's X so true
Now do top 10 Teen Titans episodes but no Teen Titans Go pls
All of us want that list...
WHERE IS EPILOGUE?!!
The Episode when Brainiac reveals himself from inside Lex Luthor, Alien-style, and merge with him was memorable as well. And how the Flash beats them was totally legendary!
The Cadmus arc as well as the reason for it (A Better World 1-2) was quite possibly the greatest story arc ever drawn up. It had so much realism to it.
first of all why dont I hear the theme song?!?!
which one?
Keith Parker the unlimited is the best theme song imo
Sharil Shahed the first theme to the original
Unlimited has the best theme, but JL is no slouch
Is it just me or dose this show have the best intro ever.
Justice League Unlimited Season 3 episode 7 “Patriot Act" was one of my favorites! It shows that even superhero’s without powers are still awesome
I just realized scarlett Johansson could play the role of Hawkgirl.
I've seen ALL OF the Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. And I love them all.
Nick Montes same . Even the non related fillers were entertaining because of the characters being explored
What?
Nick Montes what part of my comment are you confused by ?
When you said that last time
Nick Montes ? You're confusing me now .... what did I say "last time"
11:53 What a MOAP that was....
(Mother of all punches)
All these years later, and I still love the "I feel like I live in a world made of CARDBOARD!" speech by Superman. :)
I always had found "Kids Stuff" to be one of my favorites due to the young special guest stars they had playing the younger versions of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern from Dakota Fanning to Marc John Jeffries
"for the man who has everything" was mentioned by another commentator so I'll mention the "Patriot act" where we got to see a group of non super powered heroes in action and see the public they were protecting stand up to protect them.
Yes that episode now that I've grown up really appreciate it.
And the part that always gets me is at the end when the League members have all fallen and Eisling is about to kill Shining Knight, its the same people that they had been protecting that surrounds Shining Knight and refuse to budge to protect HIM.
That one and Legends(seriously don't know how this one didn't get a mention) are 2 of my favorites. Terror From Beyond is pretty noteworthy too...not many shows can turn the death and funeral of a character who had always previously been a VILLAIN into a sad, emotional, tearjerking moment(not to mention the episode was an homage BOTH to Marvel's Defenders comic series AND the horror fiction of H.P Lovecraft).
there was a lot of political commentary interwoven in that episode.
I think the "For the Man Who has Everything" episode was left off cause its not original to the show. The story itself is a slight (very slight, to the point that the original writer should have gotten more credit) rework of a superman story by the same name. Its quite famous actually, and really well drawn and written. "Legends" should have made it in here. The idea that you can take a cartoon, and make you feel for the characters in it is common, to then push it a step farther and make the audience feel for characters that don't even exist in the continuity you are working in is amazing. The ability to introduce, build, and then kill a set of characters so efficiently is amazing. Another one that should be on here: "In Blackest Night". GL really believes that he's blown an entire planet to pieces. Believes it enough that he submits to a trial willingly and doesn't even try to prove his innocence. The rest of the team believe in him so fully they go out and prove he's innocent even when he doesn't believe it himself. Then on Oa he stands there and takes the entire brunt of what the main battery can dish out upon himself. A Better World, basically everything injustice's storyline could have been and wasn't. "The Terror Beyond" is everything you want out of a story. I've always loved the silly nature of "Kids Stuff" where the main cast gets turned into kids to go to earth and stop Mordrid. "The Greatest Story Never Told" actually might be.
"Grudge Match" episode should be in this list.
Ramon Oliveira agree
I loved GM. It is one of my favorites.
literally the best episode
Great list Watchmojo! - This has been following me so finally watching it. Great scenes you chose though for the last one, I really liked the end scene where they get a head start and then everyone is going out the hall of justice.
"Purple suit wearing" (shows question wearing a blue suit)
