      Using all metal should last a long long time but that wood won't last too long

      On a roof it will last 50+ years. So it should last more than 10 years as a fence...

    The end video of this fence is not the same as the beginning. The boards on the horizontal are closer to the 4x4 posts.😮

    Wooden posts could deteriorate over the years.....a plastic fence is better.

  • @RR98guy

    Nice fence.....too bad they cheaped out using wood in the construction. YOU MUST use steel pipe for post and the runners to fasten the panels on if you expect this type fence to last more than a few years at best. If you use wood expect to be repairing it after high winds. Termites and carpenter ants will also shorten this fences life unless they are built with treated lumber. Come on man dp the job right with the proper materials so it does not have to be redone after a few years. BUY ONCE, CRY ONCE!

    • @travissmith1924
      @travissmith1924 Před rokem +4

      @Benjamin Rynearson there are many posts you can use to make this fence without wood posts. So the posts you see stop signs and road signs attached to that are not wood. They look just like post master posts. They come in all heights imagined. These are the posts I would use. You can find post master posts upward of 10 to 12 feet tall as well.

    • @travissmith1924

      @@travissmith1924 I've searched and searched I absolutely can't find anything longer than 8' and the few not very good choices are over $100. I don't get it. My sister said oh there is all kinds of options but I don't see them. I'm super frustrated trying to find anything in a hurry for my fence project that has to be done in 2 weeks
