I know it's not the intent of the manga but the fact those parents went out of their way to protect their sons and daughters is kinda wholesome in a fucked way. Despite having all reasons to just gift them to the mc and have him spare them they refuse it.😂
It's the root cause of the problem. Never diciplining their kids, spoiling them rotten, constantly bailing them out of actual consequences. They created monsters in their own image. Like a cancer on greater society. Which I bleeive was the author's intended social commentary. A fair bit of the time, it wasn't even because it's their child, but because of social image fallout. So for those who commented that this recap is absurd or ridiculous because the MC kills innocent people, from 1:23:20 the MC declares war on live broadcast. His targets are those related to the bullies and those who stand in his way of revenge. Note, he did not hurt any non military citizens. Also, if any of you recall that the law enforcers and or prosecutors turned away from his parents and aunt's plea for justice, you'd understand his rage. No one would seek justice for his deceased parents; only he could with his sword. One of his enemies' father is a candidate for presidency. So yeah, the Korean military stopping him with artillery would meet his sword.
